Yup. Unless you're worried they're too overpowered. Most of the characters are Super Weight 1-3, so if you think yours is too strong you can run it through here for critiquing.
off the shitsTeeeeeccccchnically you're supposed to run powerful characters through the signups thread, not here, but that's a minor point.
Thanks guys. I believe my character would be around number 3 on the scale.
"You can't swallow what I'm thinking!!"Whoops, I thought this was the signup thread. Serves me right for clicking before looking.
off the shitsI think we probably have some ongoing events by now. What say you, Synth?
I should probably know, what are the mental effects of Metatron on a person?

"Doki Doki Lit. Club" is a happy game where nothing bad happens. seriously tho? not for the faint of heart. It talks its shit in your head, shows you its vision - basically, itself (white crystal) everywhere - and makes it seem really appealing, makes you want to worship it, and makes you want to spread it and destroy those who oppose it/you. Oh yeah, and you get nifty gravity powers.

"We can handle what is true, for we are already living it."For a group of evil characters, Despair's allies would suffice. The Kings have more allies than you'd think.
And at Saturday, if that's alright with everyone, there's the battle against the Darklings. If they're defeated, Weber will flee and most likely not return.
In the year 202X, all is devastation... Soon, any last shred of hope had by the saintliest optimist shall die and decay....Hey, Psyco, you up for Darkling!Jinx joining along? :D
Creator of the Avatar Arena and its Discord server.Hehehe the darkling fight. 4maskwolf the priest of light gets to pull out all the stops finally in combat.
Gravity powers, eh? I thought someone used it to make explosions at some point. Can the stuff be synthesized?

Also, yeah, it can be used for energy attacks. Questor's Orbital Frames liked their Beam Spam, Burst Orbs (explosive balls of Metatron energy) are a thing, and Alpha's known to throw explosive crystals.

"We can handle what is true, for we are already living it."Hehehe oh man now I'm imagining what would happen if the gray mage got his hands on that stuff.
What's the hard limit for abilities that affect the arena, or the area around the user and the people inside?
I'm trying to create a new character that's stronger than the sniper based around an ability of that kind, a mix between illusion and reality warping, and I'm trying to balance it. Of course, their usual power weight isn't that high, but it gradually gets stronger, and in the event it reaches that point, I want to know what I can and can't do. I'm gonna make a post in the sign up thread about it when I figure it out better.
Hmm...
Illusion is a tricky thing, because it relies on the other players to validate it. Same thing applies to all mental powers: they require the other player to be willing to play along at least some of the time and trust you not to abuse them. That's why I tend to play my priest more than my psychic in battle, because his powers are more generally useful and don't require as much validation from the other players (particularly since he's a healer).
Actually I didn't explain it, but it's less illusion and more reality warping. It's almost like creating a pocket dimension for the characters to fight inside. I guess I'll make a post about it in the sign up thread after I study, if I still have time.
Ohhohoho, you're gonna love what Hazama has planned.
"Doki Doki Lit. Club" is a happy game where nothing bad happens. seriously tho? not for the faint of heart. You mean with the Metatron. Great...
That I do, that I do. I look forward to it.
"Doki Doki Lit. Club" is a happy game where nothing bad happens. seriously tho? not for the faint of heart.Like the hate plague scenario, even if my characters are already agressive as hell.
Fallout 2? More like Fallout 2 bad.@Syme: Sorry for answering so late. I think it's better to keep Darkling!Jinx for another time, because three Darklings would just be impossible to defeat.
Weber will flee after the battle (and most likely be killed before he can get away), but that doesn't mean that he can't return later and turn Jinx into a Darkling, once the majority of the people have forgotten about the Darklings.
As for the hate plague idea, I'll be joining along at least. Then I also have a valid reason to bring in the Metroid Trio again without them having to rely on Tenebris.
In the year 202X, all is devastation... Soon, any last shred of hope had by the saintliest optimist shall die and decay. The Darkling fight is still today, right? Also, at about what time will it start?
off the shits*loud popping noises as I respawn*
On another note, what has happened recently?

Sometimes it best to leave the lights OffWhen is the Darkling fight happening? If possible I'd like to have feedback on the concept I posted on the sign up thread before it (I mean, I don't know in which timezones the G Ms are, so perhaps they simply haven't seen it yet).
I've got to leave soon, I hope I don't miss it D:
off the shits
I have a question. What do I need to do to have my avatar in the Arena? Do I just drop in.
