The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableYou know Yandere is sweet outside, right?
Me? Yes, but I don't know a lot of songs that focus on that part. I included the ones I know of that do.

The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableIt's totally fine if the songs have to do with less of the "dere" and more of the "yan" (or tsun/dan/kuu)! I mean, it's hard to find songs that perfectly deal with both sides. In my own searching, it's hardest for me to find songs that fit the Kuudere.
Yes. :P After I made that list I've started going through the Music sections for Yandere, Tsundere, and Sugar-and-Ice Personality, looking for more (for my own enjoyment; you should go through them yourself to see what's best for your purposes, if you haven't already). The first two have an entire page each, just for music; the last has only two examples. -_-
I think the problem with emphasising the -dere side is that that part is basically indistinguishable from any other typical love song. Especially for a yandere song - there are only so many ways to preserve the "apparently sweet" part, and you have to worry about the song being its own Musical Spoiler, or balancing how deeply you can explore the relationship against keeping the surprise and lengthening the song...
Also, I've found a new yandere favourite - Nellie Mckay's Won't U Please B Nice. :D
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableYandere - The Police, "Every Breath You Take"
Tsundere - Garth Brooks, "She's Every Woman"

Hello! It's been quite awhile, I just wanted to pop back in because I made the comic available as a free webcomic! ^o^
Thanks again for helping out~
On the subject of Ludo... I've always felt Love Me Dead works for (the love interest of) a yandere or maybe an extreme tsundere.
EDIT: Nevermind, I didn't even see the links to the playlists when I posted.

Hopefully I'll feel confident to change my avatar off this scumbag soon. Apologies to any scumbags I insulted.
Short version: Do you know any quotes, poetry, or songs that would fit one of the dere types?
I'm trying to make a little illustrated book about the four "dere" types: Tsundere, Yandere, Kuudere, and Dandere. With each dere type, I will include a quote from somewhere, preferably a piece of literature, poetry, or a movie (but a relevant quote from anywhere would be great).
Also, music really inspires me when I'm drawing, so I'd love to know some songs that are relevant to one of the types! I'll even make some playlists on 8tracks to compile them.
Thanks!!
