Question re: Page Migration

I've made it a little personal project of late to, when I can, migrate pages of anime, manga or light novels showing under their Japanese name to their official English names (if there is one). Recently, I hit something of an oddball case regarding Ore No Nounai Sentakushi Ga Gakuen Love Come O Zenryoku De Jama Shiteiru I wanted to get some consensus on before I actually did anything with it.

The series' official English title (per Crunchyroll) is My Mental Choices are Completely Interfering with my School Romantic Comedy, however when trying to create that page as LightNovel. My Mental Choices Are Completely Interfering With My School Romantic Comedy, I paste the page source in, but it doesn't save leaving me with a message that the page doesn't exist.

I brought this up on Ask The Tropers and the consensus is that the issue is with the length of the name. A few options were suggested but I thought I should ask on the forums and get a consensus/second opinion as this strikes me as a case where I shouldn't act unilaterally.

The options so far:

  • Leave it alone (mine, since I can't change it to the Official English would it be better to just leave it be)
  • Use an Officially Shortened Title
    • The Japanese title has NouCome, but it's a shortening of the Japanese title, which defeats the purpose of using it as an official English since, unlike other series like Oreshura or Ore Imo, it's not marketed officially in the US that way.
    • While no Officially shortened title exists, an option was brought up to drop the "my school romantic comedy" part at the end of the title to cut the length down enough (making it My Mental Choices are Completely Interfering).
  • Some other fan shorthand that's well known to fans of the series.

I'm personally inclined toward using a shortened version of the English title, since it occurred to me that it may be possible to use the Custom Wikiword option to alleviate the issue if it'd work. Page gets made under cut down title, but wikiword still reflects the full title.

Like I said, not sure what the best way would be here so I want to get another set of opinions before I make any kind of move.

Thanks in advance.

The title is 65 letters long. From what I know, neither the wiki articles nor the customizer like a title longer than 64.

Ouch, just one character off then. Out of curiosity, does that include the Namespace or, since you mention customizer, is it purely the title itself?

Either way, what would be the best way to handle this. When I mentioned it in Ask The Tropers Fighteer suggeste that for titles that long, usually there's a fan shorthand that becomes customary, such as "My Mental Choices". Far as I know, there isn't such a shorthand, but then again I'm not a fan of the series I'm mostly just moving it from Japanese > English and copying everything over as-is, so I could be mistaken.

Would dropping the last five words and making it "My Mental Choices Are Completely Interfering" work as a shorthand? In hindsight, I wonder if this should go to the current page's discussion.
