.Paranoia RPG - A.C.I.D.Trip

Welcome to Alpha Complex Infrastructure Defense! You've been newly promoted from one of the heavily drugged Infra-Red masses to a slightly-less drugged Red citizen. You've also been assigned to work with a team of highly experienced Orange citizens. These people will help you in your new duties and, with luck, one of your clones will survive to be promoted to orange just like them!

This is a new adventure in an on-going Paranoia RPG setting, so there will be several players from the last adventure. However, I also want to have some new players join in. Expect to post at least once a day. I plan to start the actual adventure early next week, probably May 2nd or May 3rd.

This roleplay uses a homebrew system based on the play test rules for the Paranoia reboot coming out sometime in 2015.

To create your character, copy the form at the end of this post, fill it out, and paste it to this thread.

Your Trope Complex name will be a first name + the letter R (For Red Clearance) + three letters representing your sector of origin + your clone number. You have six clones, so your first clone number is '1'. When your character dies, it will be replaced by the next clone (2, then 3, then so on) until your last and final clone.

For your skills: Go through and select two skills to be +1, two skills to be +2, and two skills to be +3. The other ten skills will be set as 0. There are sixteen skills, divided into four fields (Violence, Mechanics, Brains, Chutzpah). Next, for each field, count (not add up) the number of skills you have a 1, 2, or 3 in. For VIOLENCE, for example, if you hade Melee 1, guns 2,athletics 0, and duck 0, your VIOLENCE field would be '2' (Melee and Guns).

For your Mutant power: Select a mutant power from the mutant table below. The mutant power should be associated with the field that you have the highest number in. Your mutant ability power is equal to the value of the associated field. For example, if you picked 'Mental Blast', your mutant power is equal to your Violence field.

SKILLS:

VIOLENCE

Melee: Your character's ability to fight, either in unarmed combat or with melee weapons.
Guns: Your character's ability to fight with ranged weapons, especially DEADLY LASERS!
Athletics: Your character's ability to move, run, carry large loads, etc.
Duck: Your character's ability to quack, waddle, or... oh, wait. Your character's ability to avoid damage. Any knowledge of animals known as ducks is not available at your level

MECHANICS

Program: Your character's ability to use, fix, and manipulate non-sentient computers.
Engineer: Your character's ability to use, fix, and modify machines such as robots.
Drive: Your character's ability to operate vehicles.
Demolitions: Your character's ability to use explosives.

BRAINS

Bureaucracy: Your character's ability to understand and manipulate the hundreds of civil servants working for Friend Computer.
Science: Your character's ability to operate scientific equipment such as medical kits.
Psychology: Your character's ability to analyze what other people are thinking by what they are doing, such as detecting when they are lying through their teeth.
Alpha Complex Knowledge: Your character's ability to navigate through Alpha Complex's physical structure.

CHUTZPAH

Lie: Your character's ability to state the truth from a certain point of view and be believed, without your nose growing.
Scare: Your character's ability to get what you want from other characters, by making them fear you.
Charm: Your character's ability to get what you want from other characters, by making them love you. Citizen Machia-V-eli can tell you which is better.
Stealth: Your character's ability to get what you want from other characters, by going around their backs without them detecting you.

MUTANT POWERS

Violence

Crisis Adrenaline

You can use this power to try to briefly do near-super-human physical acts, at the cost of intense physical pain as your body recovers from the strain.

Mental Blast'

Cause agonizing brain activity in other living creatures in close range.

Brains

Hyper Senses

You naturally have keener senses then others, but can also temporarily enhance one of your senses to super human levels.

Levitation

Use your mental powers to lift yourself in the air.

Chutzpah

Charm

You can produce pheremones that make people instinctively like you and want to please you.

Polymorphism

You can change your face to appear like someone else.

Mechanics

Electroshock

You are immune to minor electrical shocks. You can produce electrical shocks which can range from mild shocks up to frying people's bodies or destroying non-insulated machines.

Machine Empathy

You can use your power to make simple machines want to obey or please you. Warning: This is the mutant power Friend Computer fears the most.
