Rain of the Ghosts

Has anybody read these books? They're written by Greg Weisman and are based on Taino mythology. So far there's two, Rain of the Ghosts and Spirits of Ash and Foam with the third one, Masque of Bones on hold. There's also a Kickstarter to produce an Audio Play for the first one (link is on my sig).

So, what did you guys think of them?

Never heard of this series before, but you had me Greg Weisman! I definitely need to give these a read!

The Kickstarter just reached its goal and now the stretch goals are digital comic book adaptations of the first book.

I really hope this convinces St. Martin's Press to approve a third book and more.

I'm thinking about creating a page for this series, but my mind is a little too fried right now to come up with enough tropes to launch a healthy page.

Just started this book. Weisman is great storyteller, but i'm not native english speaker, so this is gonna be hard - book don't exist in russian. Sadly.
