Wouldn't it be more accurate to call the genre Superhero Story and make Superhero about the character type?

I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.I am in agreement with that. Or even Superhero Genre.
Off-topic and potentially derailing, but the renaming of Cosmic Horror to Cosmic Horror Story to avoid confusion with Eldritch Abomination has never sat right with me, and ever since we started attaching "genre" to other genre names that needed clarification I've wondered if we might rename it Cosmic Horror Genre...
Lost track of this thread, but bumping it up. Is there anyone official to ask or should I just be bold and edit?
Might want to collect some more opinions. I'm going to holler my post and ask the mods if this belongs in TRS. I'm a fan of the Superher Genre and Super Hero (for the character archetype) split. Superhero Literature could be a medium subpage to Superhero Genre.

Given that there have been several different suggestions, this would require a discussion. I haven't moved this topic to TRS because in my opinion that forum needs some work done on already existing issues before adding new ones.

Right now, we have Superhero, which seems to be a general index for superhero works and Superhero Literature which is just writing about them. Would it make sense to split some of the other prolific sorts such as Superhero Webcomics into their own index? As it is, there's a lot of overlap, but neither set is fully contained in the other between Superhero Literature and the Literature section of Superhero.
