"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"And "TV Tropes 2.0" should end up automating crosslinking anyway.
thanks
true, but it says to write a brief description for each example. I'd write the example for the work, but naturally you'd go a bit more in-depth for the trope page's example. After all, you'd be less likely to know about the work, or have some form of context.
My game. I reckon it's gonna be a big oneActually, examples on both sides ought to be understandable without relying on outside context.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynmanfair enough, but they still might be written slightly different, if anything to describe the use of the trope more in relation to the actual trope rather than just its example in the work.

I've noticed multiple times that tropes don't get updated on the tropes page. I.E. The example isn't entered, or the person forgot, etc. What would be nice is if for trope pages you can see a (non forum non trope list) of ALL pages linking to it. What this would accomplish is providing a list (possibly editable) that could be used to keep track of leftover examples on the site that still need to be entered. Then, more over-used or well known tropes will be recognized better and the piece of fiction will be recognized as well. It also raises Google search criteria according to something I read on wikia about promoting sites. I've also noticed that various lists get un-alphabetized (laziness most likely). I don't mean to pick on anyone. I just want this to be added so it's easier for people to keep up with stuff to be added.
