In the Question and Answer section of the latest volume of One Piece, Eiichiro Oda takes time to point out fanart that had been submitted years ago by Kohei Horikoshi, author of fellow Shonen Jump series My Hero Academia.
Would this qualify Horikoshi as a Promoted Fanboy, since he was clearly a fan of Shonen Jump/One Piece and now writes a manga featured in Shonen Jump alongside OP itself?
EDIT: I think I just found the answer to my own question looking through the Promoted Fanboy page itself. It mentions the same situation regarding Oda himself.
