Welcome to Remnant: A Post-Beacon Spinoff

Beacon Academy. I have many fond (and not so fond) memories of that school. Memories of joy, of sorrow, of lessons and teachers, of friends, of the chaos that was Dorm White Rose...memories of a stupid, stubborn, cynical boy who I love, and will continue to love for the rest of my life.

But Beacon...that was a long time ago. Has it really been thirteen years? Thirteen long years since I first entered that school. A silly, naive girl that didn't know what she was getting into. I look back, and sometimes I feel a great sense of wistfullness...

...But I am Huntress now. I have a duty to fulfill. For the kingdom and for the people dear to me.

This is the continuation of our story. This is the story of what lies after Beacon. The school trained us. Now, we face the world.

Damn hiatus giving me ideas. Someone shoot me. So, as you see from the intro, this is Welcome to Beacon without the Beacon. This tells the story of our beloved cast long after graduation, following their lives as full Huntsmen and Huntresses. Going on adventures, slaying Grimm, protecting people, catching villains...getting into weird-ass messes.

Hey, we needed something different after all those versions of Beacon.

So, lemme explain the situation here. Me, Grim the Hiatus-prone, have come to the conclusion that I can't do this shit alone. So, I'm looking for a Co-GM to take over things and torture the characters while I'm out. I need a volunteer. I don't want to strong-arm Rom or Amp into doing something they might not want to, and Insano is more scarce than I am these days.

One last thing. The setting of this RP is in between Ultimate and Next. Thirteen years after BU and thirteen before BN. Lucretia died a year ago, and Alice was just officialy crowned a month before the RP starts. Tension between Vale and Vacuo is at an all-time high. There are talka for a possible war, although that's a worst-case scenario. And the Grimm are awfully restless these days....

By the way, since we're at the halfway point between Ultimate and Next (13 years before and after),doesn't that mean that the Next crew are already born, and some of us are going to be taking care of 3-5 year olds? Or a dozen kids, in Medus and Ieria's case?

Real talk here: This'll be the third spin-off, and considering the shit involved, I highly recommend on waiting until Ultimate ends so this can serve as a proper sequel.

This is gonna be something where previous plot points will kinda matter.

Yeah, Let's put this on hold. Next is okay because it's a distant sequel, but this? Yeah...

I kinda agree. Shelve this for now until Ultimate's complete.
