Are you asking specifically about comic book based series and films? So, for instance, recommending Gotham Central to fans of Gotham.
Or are you talking about films and television in general; so I could recommend Gotham Central to fans of Homicide: Life on the Street? Because in that case I'd like somebody to recommend me a comic like the series Cracker. I know there must be at least one, I just need to find it.
