Ooh, those are some interesting new powers.
Exist, pursued by bearAs if the first post wasn't big enough, there are still MORE masteries to go through, though the next update is likely to be the last in which movement options are added, energy system is implemented as well as stats being introduced. Still, shouldn't be as big as this last post.
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything. Can't wait for the next update!
My current plan is a girl with Light and Dark powers. Sort of inspired by Discworld here - a girl who knows how to find the balance point and tip the scales, when you stare into the light and make a shielding cover of shadows and when you go into dark places and bring the light with you. Boundaries and balance and tipping points and such!
I'm in a bit of a poetic mood today, hehe.

Exist, pursued by bearAsk a stupid question, get a stupid answer, but can there be male Magical Girls?
Also, totally gonna do this. Barrier Warrior plus Combat Medic, point-buy system permitting.
The punch is mightier than the sword. Except for when it isn't.Do you mean like trans magical girls? Because I think the Goddess' power naturally goes to girls.
Exist, pursued by bearHmmmm default answer on male Magical Girls would be a no given the theme to play with, though if there is enough demand for it something may be worked out.
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.Out of curiosity, why is flight listed as a weapons mastery? I mean, I can see how it'd work with polearms - sort of like a much more bladed witch's broom - but I don't quite get how flying around suspended by, say, a dagger would work. It seems like flight might be better as an armor/clothes mastery?
Exist, pursued by bearMore importantly, does the fact that a weapon is self-wielding imply that it is already able to fly? Do we have to pick Flying as a weapon ability before it can self-wield?
The punch is mightier than the sword. Except for when it isn't.There are other ways to fly, entirely independent of the Weapon Upgrade: Flying Talents. Coming soon are the Masteries dealing with movement, so there you will find the other Flying Options. Indeed, on weapon Masteries the flying option works a lot better with polearms and the like, however if a Magical Girl wants to surf on a Greatsword who am I to say no? Thus I'm not restricting the Flying Property of weapons just to polearms.
However, make note that beyond conventional weapons, you can also have with the Weapon Masteries as wand, broom or a cool magical staff like the ones in the Nanoha series. In which case, flying on one of those seems more natural. We'll also say that so long as the weapon is in your person it can hold you aloft... to allow you to stand in mid air and also use your weapon instead of having to pick between flying and not shooting or shooting and falling.
Also, you don't need to pick Flying to get Self Wielding. The difference between the two is that in Flying, the weapon can move faster and also bear with your weight, it's an enchantment dedicated to mobility. Self wielding comes with an enchantment for the weapon to properly fight by itself and only worry the force needed to do attacks. In both cases the weapon is floating, but for different purposes and different 'programs' as it were.
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.Oh, that makes sense. Cool!
Although I think some Nanoha-style Devices might be weird in a pseudo medieval setting... I guess as long as they don't talk and aren't actual supercomputers it'd make sense?
Exist, pursued by bearThey could talk if you want it! Sentient and talking magical weapons are not rare to fantasy and given magitek present in the setting, you could have staves that look and act pretty much like the Devices though acting with magic and spirits.

If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.I see! Also I read 'staves' as 'slaves' and got very worried about what kind of game this was.
Exist, pursued by bearWhat kind of biome we're working with here? Temperate forest, tundra, desert or a bit of everything?
http://www.last.fm/user/sgtpendulum Yo, check out what I'm listening, it'll be heat, brah :^)Would it be possible to use Telepathy with a Witch Weapon to make it talk for the Magical Girl?
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."Sounds interesting but the point system is still unclear to me. Could I choose my weapon for instance a sword/bow?
Forgiveness is beyond justice, faith is superior than hope, redemption is better than perfection and love is greater than them all.Maybe weapons awkward in close combat would cost less points, since a melee weapon can just get the shoot trait and be overall better than a bow/pistol as a result.
Some people say I'm lazy. It's hard to disagree.interested
Forward, boys! For God's sake, forward!I...kinda have an idea, I may not use this idea for my character but...
Are there any chance(or theories or a thought) of resurrection of the Dead Goddess? Someone in-universe might have thought about it at some point or another, considering all the magics and darkness and stuff.
http://www.last.fm/user/sgtpendulum Yo, check out what I'm listening, it'll be heat, brah :^)I think that an actual PC incarnation of the Goddess would be too overpowered. But you could probaby have a magical girl THOUGHT to be the goddess' incarnation by a cult!
Exist, pursued by bearWell, given gods are on a whole different level from mortality, anyone who thought she could be resurrected likely figures forcefully extracting the magic out of her chosen is the only way. That or outpouring an insane amount of magic or sacrificing a crapload of souls to her. No simple act of necromancy would revive a god after all.
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."Okay, I think implied the question incorrectly so lemme rephrased:
Has anyone(NPC included, in-universe) has any thought of reviving the dead Goddesses? Are there (in)famous thesis or theories on this? What's the general population's reaction to the thoughts? Would they be excited that the Goddess is what they need to be free of the dark enemy tyranny or would they call it blasphemy?
http://www.last.fm/user/sgtpendulum Yo, check out what I'm listening, it'll be heat, brah :^)I'm planning a Fell Transmuter... Fun will be had.
/人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\ Will you make a contract with me?Anyone know where OP went? I'm worried that they forgot about the thing and won't come back for signups.
The punch is mightier than the sword. Except for when it isn't.I think Daltar is probably just working on the next update. It's only been a few days, after all.

Um, the Weapon Feature Flight mentions Flight Mastery but I don't see that anywhere...
