More relationship drama... :(
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."Possibly, but I'd like to put money on this whole thing being Dustin's idea to give Mark a bit more confidence.
In old news, I sure am glad they ditched the whole "hunter" arc. I mean, cop-outs aside, that one just didn't make a lick of sense, and really clashed with the tone of the more down-to-earth parts.
I'm still not quite over how Mark and Jess' relationship ended. On one hand, she was being petty and narrow-minded about Mark's hobbies and excessively rude about them. On the other, Mark and Sarah (unwittingly by him, quite intentionally by her) were conducting an emotional affair, and neither have owned up to that.
I kind of feel like all three parties deserve to suffer a little for that - they were all varying degrees of awful people in that situation.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Considering how Mark's relationship with Jess ended, I'm not sure letting him think his friend's girlfriend wants him is a sane idea.
While I haven't abandoned the series I am disappointed as to how the Weregeek arc ended. With it gone this is just a geekier version of Questionable Content
Trump delenda estRise from your grave!
Dustin missed a good occasion for being awesome in his discussion with his brother. When said brother threw "put away childish things" at him, I was very disappointed Dustin didn't simply finish the sentence for him with the classic C. S. Lewis "fear of childishness" quote.
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."
How do we not have a thread for this yet?
So, yeah, recent developments in the story are, um, a thing. 0_o I'm not sure I like where this is going.
