The official unofficial Todd Rundgren thread

I think it is long overdue to create a discussion for the great and terrible Todd Rundgren! He made so much music, there is something for everyone to talk about.

I'll start with Arena. Due to being a victim to Loudness War, it doesn't sound too good. However, as I found out, reducing the bass by 3.7 in Audacity makes the songs more easy on the ears. However, reducing it even more makes the bass inaudible in some cases, so it's not recommended.

I hated the production on Arena. Hated hated. So I looked up the tour on Youtube and had a blast, fun throwback hard rock there. Speaking of live Todd, what the hell happened to the AWATS Live album/dvd? Didn't record properly or something?

Are there higher quality releases of Arena? Any at all?
