The current does seem to be emphasizing the cool factor over "user-friendly". From the OP, I'd say 1.2 > 1.1 > 1.3.
It's too bad that a screencap of a Windows 8.1 computer probably wouldn't look good at wiki size, because that would be perfect...would a closeup of a few of the panels work?
I like 1.1. The "ignore" display is so deeply audience friendly as to be comical.
This signature says something else when you aren't looking at it.The current is pretty fine for me.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI like the "ignore" image better than the current. Not actually sure what the current is showing.
Check out my fanfiction!1.1 is my favorite as well.

for Ignore
I actually prefer 1.2, but I don't mind 1.1 if that's the more popular one.
I vote either "How do you even "Ignore" a text message?" or "She can't get messages longer than four words."

Well honestly, I'm not sure if the picture there is supposed to be a straight example or an aversion. I'd assume it's a straight example, but A: it's not horribly egregious (at least to someone who knows next to nothing about how biometrics usually appear), and B: the caption makes it seem like it's at least a partial aversion. But either way, it's unclear, which is rarely a good sign.
Dexter◊ is full◊ of examples◊.
The first is my favorite (why is there even an "ignore" function for a text message? Just so the viewer knows that the text was ignored), though it'd need to be edited so they're stacked rather than side-by-side. It'd be long, but the description for the trope is incredibly long anyway, so it wouldn't look bad.
