I don't think it's an improvement over the current.

I'm not crazy about 18. The proper implications are present but not very strong.

I'm okay with having the subtitle as a caption. Is there a longer version of the quote that would make the context make more sense, though?

Normally yes, but there haven't really been too many other good options brought up.

Crowners are for finding consensus when there is disagreement about which image to use given more than one good image. There is little or no disagreement here.

I don't find any of the proposals better than the current. The OP looks like A God Am I while 18 sort of entirely relies on the caption. The picture illustrates shit all. It just looks like three people. Like one's the leader of a gang or something all being smug about themselves.

29 is probably the best in that it shows crowd visibly cheering for the bald dude. Use that with the proposed caption in 33.

My two cents:

OP could be taken as this trope, but is honestly faaaaar too close to A God Am I. Current is pretty godd, but the proposals are better. Personally, I prefer 33, I interpreted that smile as more gentle than smug, and the two peeps in the background are visibly cheering. Of the three in 29, it looks the most like he's actually happy, rather than surprised. Happy conveys feeling good more than surprise does.

33 is great, to my mind.

I still prefer the current.

I like the Infamous example with the most recent caption. It's the background people.

I think most of us are pretty agreed upon switching to the Infamous image.

There's no clear majority agreement on that image. At this point the options are either crowner or no action.

I'd like to remind that the Infamous image will have that caption to give it the proper context. It shows more than it tells, while Sinfest only tells, but Infamous with the caption will do both.

I disagree. I don't think it shows any more at all.
