Since there has been much talk about how Nintendo(and Microsoft)have never managed to be big safe hits in Europe, here's a short article about what Sony did(and Nintendo needs to do).
Edit: NX will at the very least be as powerful as a smartphone because it'll support UE4. It would be actual news if it didn't.

Actually, the Wii U does support UE4. I believe the Wii U port of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night will run on it and the company that's handling the port (the same one that handled Metroid Prime Trilogy) will be releasing their source code so other devs can see that, yes, it is possible.

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Huh. Looks like the NX definitely wont have a tablet native to the system.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireTo be fair, a lot of people are researching VR so that comes as no surprise. Honestly, the opposite would have been more surprising.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! The meeting talked about nothing new with NX. 3DS will get more support, Wii U gets one last game next year(Zelda), Qo L is apparently still a thing but not something they'll talk about, more mobile games will be out before the NX/next year and the finances didn't look good as usual.
Oh and in the Q&A this question and answer happened:
- Q1. I’ve held shares for 20 years. I want to protest the board of directors being all-male. Remember half of the market is female. Also, I don’t use a PC, and I’d like the opinions of those kinds of shareholders to be taken into account.
- A1. Kimishima: We don’t have any females [on the board]. For foreigners, Reggie is an operating officer. There are many female employees, and their opinions are applied in product development. It’s important that we continue taking their opinions in dev.
I'm not exactly sure what Kimishima is supposed to be saying. It sounds like he's just repeating what the question was.
It's a canned corporate non-answer: Don't try to read too much into it.
I sure said that! How about some concrete, factual information on the NX? If GameXplain's info is correct, it's due for release in March of next year. It didn't show at E3 because Nintendo was wary of copycats.
Well yeah, it has to be released before the next fiscal year or their promise to have Zelda out before the next one would be void.
I didn't really expect much on the NX from this. Any info is probably going to come later from something that's more public.
Shareholders will definitely get pissed if it slides into fiscal 2017-18, then the only thing keeping 2016 afloat for either platform is Pokemon Sun and Moon, simply not enough at this point.
These meetings are almost always a whole lotta nothing, it's just that the NX thirst is so real that people are hanging onto every word for a hint of anything at this one in particular.
the same guy says that for a larger game with a huge marketing budget like from rocksteady or ea needs 5 million, so nintendo has it easier in that respect.
And yet only around 8 Wii U games from Nintendo got past 2 million while companies like EA has very few games considered financial failures despite higher budgets(mostly created by having more people working on each). Maybe Nintendo should increase the marketing budget or hire more marketing people instead of firing or letting them go now that they have a new console on the way that apparently costs more to develop for?
Also he talked about massive games like GTAV and Destiny with the 5 million and not Nintendo's usual smaller sized games which to give an example of a non-Nintendo one could be a game like Lego Star Wars.

That's a Wii U problem, not a software or (game) marketing problem, and you know that. Averages tell us nothing when the example given is the extreme high end for a Nintendo game thus far. If Zelda really only needs to sell 2 million, then something like Xenoblade can break even at much lower sales. Aside from the Platinum games and TMS I doubt any of the notable Wii U games have failed to hit the break even point.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.Basically, Nintendo is holding a design contest with Uniqlo, and the grand prize includes a Shigeru Miyamoto-autographed NX console. I checked the Q and A, and it's indeed right there under the last section on Prizes. The contest winners will be presented at a ceremony in Spring 2017, so that's about right with the NX launch.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectHmm...I remember there being an article that a Wii U Fire Emblem game would need to sell 700,000 copies to cover the cost of development. I assume franchises around the popularity of Fire Emblem have a little more leeway and don't need to sell 2 million for the NX generation.

So the best t-shirt gets a free NX signed by Miyamoto?
Damn, I wish I had art skills.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!It does sort of affirm that they're intent on meeting that release date, at least.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectNintendo won't be at the Tokyo Game Show, so don't expect the NX by then.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Looks like Ubisoft will have 3 games for NX(one of which is the Just Dance port and one that's already announced and multiplatform).

I'd guess Watch Dogs 2, but I'm not sure if they would do that after they doomed the first game on the Wii U with the later release and it's probably low sales.
I think two consoles in one is enough of a gimmick.
