I beg to differ on Capcom not being able to sell systems in the west. Maybe not as universally as in Japan, but Street Fighter V will move a few systems.
Nintendo's own staff poking fun at the heavy NDAs.◊

"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Sure Street Fighter can move a few systems in the west. Though Resident Evil would be a better example of Capcom's western power. Stuff like Souls and Persona can also move a few systems. But not to a large extent like Call of Duty/Fallout/Madden in the west or Pokemon/Monster Hunter in Japan. I was talking about the big guns that top the charts, not the ones a step or three below that.
"They just dropped a pile of code on my lap and told me I had three days to fix it. What the hell am I even working on here?"
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Next thing you know it turns out Miyamoto and Kimishima have no idea what the NX is.
"NX? Is that part of the Qo L thing we were working on before?"
"No, I know it's the next Star Fox game!"
Naturally at the end of the work day everyone involved gets memory-wiped Men In Black-style.
How else do you think they snuck Cloud into Smash Bros.?
Turns out no-one knows what the NX is or who started development on it or for why. Except the NX itself! ~DUN DUN DUN!~
The NX has always existed. It will exist always for eternity. The NX is eternal.
It was simply biding ts time to release its terrible fury on the world.
Available soon for $350 at stores near you.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectI'm curious what the mobile aspect of it is going to look like? I've been holding off on getting a new 3DS because I want to wait and see what Nintendo is planning for the platform and if it'll have BC support.
Coro Coro is going to reveal a new Pokemon in this month's issue. Considering history with the Pokemon games, I'm not expecting Gen 7 until late 2017, but this is big news.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Silhouette makes me think of something similar to Lilligant in design. Probably not gonna be Gen 7 next, but now is about the time when they start revealing select mons from the next generation.
A new Pokemon generation as a start title for the NX would be a tactical sound move.
The article has been updated with a scan of the Pokemon, check the link again.
Huh, looks like it should be an alternate final form for Klink.
"Lucian, don’t be afraid, we’ll make it through this."I kinda like it.
Does this mean Gen VII inbound?
I'm thinking this is the Genesect equivalent for the inevitable Pokemon Z.
It doesn't really look like "Game related Legendary" to me.
It's not Ogre, It's Never Ogre. The translation uses Mythical Pokemon which is the official term used for event Pokemon. So, Magiana is probably like Mew or Volcanion.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Another rumor from Metaldave.
http://www.nintengen.com/2016/02/nintendo-nx-insider-dev-kit-engine.html
I'm gonna copy and paste cause I'm lazy.
- The game is running on Unreal Engine 4 and looks very impressive graphically.
- The Developer said that Dev Kits are limited supply and a larger number of developers wanting Dev Kits will get an SDK so they can prep their titles for release on NX.
- The Developer’s Nintendo Account Manager stated that Unity and Unreal Engine 4 will both be ready in time for when developers outside of key partners are able to purchase dev-kits of their own.
- The Developer states that since their game is running on Unreal Engine 4 already, this is very promising news and are happy that Nintendo has at least taken the initiative in this regard of engine support out of the gate.
- The Developer seems to think that they have a good chance of getting an actual dev kit and not just an SDK.
This information lines up with what Developer Kyodai just said in a recent interview with Nintendonews.com:
“We personally think the next home platform from Nintendo will have native UE 4 support, which can potentially resolve many of the Wii U compatibility issues,” the studio shared with us. “Of course, we can’t confirm anything at this moment, but you know, almost all of the big and medium-sized Japanese publishers (Capcom, Bandai Namco, Square-Enix, etc.) are leaning toward using UE 4. And Japan is a very important market for Nintendo.”
The developer went on to inform me that he actually did not break any NDA that he was under by telling this information. The release date of the Dev Kits for all developers remains under NDA and the specs of the Dev Kit are still hidden. Tell me what you guys think about this in the comment section!
So I've heard that Platinum is considering making a Bayonetta 3. What are the chances it will come to the NX?
100% on NX. They'll probably start on it after their current games are out and they can focus on passion projects again unless they want to make something new again.

Wishlist for NX: the stylus is on a retractable wire so that you can't lose it.
