I expect to see some spacing in the dock so we can use a nice sturdy polycarb shell plus tempered-glass screen protector with the Switch :V
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls! Why? The thing'll be made of Nintendium, yo. Those things'll break long before the console itself does.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! It's like carrying a tablet.
Did he then go on to continue playing on the Game Cube later on?

One Strip! One Strip! We've all seen the Gulf War Vet Game Boy. Having seen it in person (the store in Rockefeller Center in Manhattan has it as part of a mini-museum) I'm aware of just how tough Nintendo makes their products.

i feel like when nuclear fallout inevitably happens in the next 4 years, nintendo could make a killing selling bombshelters that you can play
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeI've seen that too. It's pretty sweet.
Reaction Image RepositoryY'know, I am as fond as Nintendium as both an ideal and a reality as anyone, but let's be real here: The Switch is a tablet. Its surface is 97% acrylic glass over a network of capacitive touchscreen instrumentation. The structural integrity of its Nintendium is gonna be pretty fuckin' compromised. :P
"when we found out that the Switch's new tablet design didn't meet up with our durability standards in our highly professional development tests..."
*cut to nintendo employees using the switch as a frisbee, a hockeypuck, a yoga mat, a wii balance board, a surf board, a shield in gladiatorial combat, etc*
"...we decided to form a new type of touch-screen glass that did in order to guarantee our customers would receive the best product possible"
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeMario toys coming to Japanese Mc Donalds Happy Meals to hype up the Switch.
NoE's Switch press event will be in Paris on January 13th.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."is it just me, or has Nintendo been really aggressive with the advertisement and hype building for the Switch?
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not. They want it to succeed. Still nothing compared to seeing what Square Enix did with Final Fantasy XV.
Marketing it really well as all Nintendo can do.
Well, aside from getting third parties on board.
Eventually, it all falls onto the consumer to actually buy the thing.
It's already marketed better than the Wii U is, buy making sure that people know what it is and by targetting it towards college kids or older (as shown in the reveal trailer).
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!Given that one of the Wii U's biggest shortcomings was an abject lack of marketing for it, it makes sense they'd want to focus on that. Same deal with the Wii U's weak catalog; they really seem to be aiming to make sure there's a good library available on launch.
Reaction Image RepositoryMore importantly, a product, especially in this industry and this day and age, lives or dies by its first impressions. The Wii U's initial marketing and initial library were so bad that even when those improved people still flat-out refused to buy it. It's not enough for a console to have momentum, it has to have momentum from the very beginning.
The Switch has that right now. In fact, assuming Nintendo doesn't completely fuck up in January, the Switch is basically guaranteed success. The question right now is just how big it's gonna be.
They got off to a strong start with the concept trailer. January 12 is gonna be pretty mind blowing, I think, because they can't afford for it not to be.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectI just hope I can scrape together enough cash over the holidays to be able to buy one without breaking the bank. Normally it wouldn't be a problem, but I might be leasing an apartment soon.
Reaction Image RepositoryI'm going to set aside money for it :V
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!I'm gonna end up using my Income Tax on it. Just gotta make sure I get it started as soon as I get my W2.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."THQ Nordic is working on two projects for the Switch.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Double post:
Also, Let's Play Videogames, the site that's been reporting all of these leaks, have not been given invites to the Switch events probably because Laura Kate Dale, the main LPVG reporter reporting these leaks, has been blacklisted by Nintendo UK.
Finally, the Switch events will have one game demo locked to a tablet, but people who have been invited can take the tablet out of the dock and play it in a separate area with couches instead of on a TV.

"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."So the Switch itself is rather powerful, it's just not a good idea for it to tun in 1080p on a 720p screen, and it would get too hot anyway. Interesting.
Dark Souls trilogy would actually surprise me. I've joked that I only expect a Monster Hunter Diary port from them, and Miyazaki did previously laugh at the idea of putting the series on Wii U, but I did still expect them to put their next dark fantasy game on the Switch anyway just so they could say they tried. A full trilogy port would hint that they are actually trying to learn the system and build an audience there. From is one of the few notable JP developers that I am not expecting a serious effort from, so if From is serious that's basically everyone worth something from Japan.
The site isn't working; if it is true I would love that I never played Dark Souls but I loved Demon's Souls so I would like to play it if they have a collection with all the DLC.

Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre Adventure
Nah, that's definitely something you'd need a backpack to carry around discreetly.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.
