Piccolo is also good. Light Grenade is a very quick-to-fire Ki super, Evil Explosion might be the best melee-range Ki super since the nerf of Gravity Impact, and his capstone ultimate is one of the faster ones.
On the subject of Ginyu; just know that completing his training unlocks Freeza as a mentor.
I have a message from another time...I'll likely go with Piccolo if I find him then, I need more powerful Ki blasts besides Galick Gun or Kamehameha, Shine Shot's useful but it's only good for a long range finishing move against enemies in Parallel Quest.
Not mention that Special Beam Cannon ignores defense.
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyWell last time I played, I got through the Cell Saga part and while I enjoyed it and was shocked at how hard it was due to evil Mr. Satan/Hercule, I was admittedly disappointed since they could have added so much more from the Android Saga itself, like fighting Android 19 and/or 20, then helping Piccolo fight Android 17 before Cell arrives, fighting Imperfect Cell and then Semi-Perfect Cell, etc etc. But oh well, missed opportunity.
I agree with you, the Android Saga was really short given how many battles could have been altered in that era.
"Why does everyone have the heart virus!?"
I have a message from another time..."How can Androids 16 and 19 even get the heart virus!? That doesn't even make any sense!"
"No! Frieza's even more powerful than he was when I defeated him! He's too much for Goku and I to handle now!
I mean, I will say that I'm finding it difficult to think of interesting fights for the Android Saga.
Because. I don't like the Time Patrols that are just "oh no the bad guy who was already too strong is stronger now". Like the ones in the Buu Saga.
The stuff on Namek was neat because Vegeta being stronger made Ginyu want to switch with him, and Vegeta doing Ginyu poses was amazing.
And then our Time Patroller ended up switching.
With Frieza himself. It didn't so much make his power that much higher as much as it made him say "fuck it" and go right to max right away.
...I personally think that Mr. Satan is the part where the game's story peaked. Like, it doesn't get better than that. That was the best and most amazing idea on the table.
Hmm, The game is on sale.
Is the season pass pack (only 15$ more at this point) worth it? or should I watch for a better deal?
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans. If the Time Travel Edition which has the game and Season Pass together is for sale, absolutely get it. I saved over $50 by getting it when it was on sale and can access all the DLC.
Speaking of DLC will there be any more or is the game pretty much over now?
Oh really when?Game's pretty much done now since the Resurrection of F DLC came out. And I hear that was incredibly disappointing due to it just being a couple parallel quests and outfits instead of story content like the GT packs.
What really grinds my gears about it is that the final mentor mission with Elder Kai essentially has you obtaining one of the most useful, if not the most useful transformation skill in the entire game which by that point is useless because of how over-leveled you have to be to get it. There's no quest that can't be handled by you at that point without it. And yeah it's nice to have a transformation which any character can use, but why would you create a new character after you've played all the missions to death by that point?
By that point it's basically Bragging Rights Reward huh? I don't think I'll play past doing every Parallel Quest and all of the story and DLC story, Xenoverse is great but there just isn't enough content to hold my interest enough to grind to a high enough level to get the Elder Supreme Kai's Unlock Potential ability.
Ah, so I did get this game.
Feels kind of cathartic to thoroughly kick raditz' ass as an earthling.
And then do it again in the PQ.
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans.I rented this game and started playing on saturday, and I played through to the end of the Freeza saga as a saiyan name Durge(from the sea vegetable dulse). This game is really fun.
bought this cuz it was on sale. Time to tell toriyama to stfu and create a female super saiyan.
There's a female majin option for some insane reason. Also someone get me a line to hell so I can tell Frieza to fuck himself.
Seriously.
I had to whore to beat his first round.

Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans. It's based on Dragon Ball Online.
Long story short, Buu got interested in love after getting into Satan 's magazine stash, divided into himself and Miss Buu, and the two of them combined Love Love Beams to create the Majin race.
I have a message from another time...Bwuh? What the- But that- What is-
WHAT.
I wish I could say- wait, no. I am overjoyed that I can't say any of that was made up on my part.
I have a message from another time..."Love-Love Beam?"
What is this, fucking Care Bears?
I mean, it's hilarious in a stupid way. But it just sounds so dumb.
Oh whatever, Drag On Ball wasn't very good with the "sense" department.
Buu's moves have crazy names, yo. This is a guy with an Innocence Beam and Ill Ball.
And the Love Love beam was never an attack, anyway.

I have a message from another time...
You don't have to use any of the mentor skills while you're increasing their mentor friendship.
