Paired with a good caption, that would work well enough for me pending other suggestions.
Yes. Good suggestion.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. There isn't a Simpsons comic we could grab a panel of two from? I would much prefer a panel with speech bubbles instead of a caption like that.
Looks good to me.
"Hey come on, guys, I want-a Seymore Butts!"
^^ Why? That seems fine; better maybe, speech bubbles would mean less art.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. That works.
Check out my fanfiction!Aye, a caption is just as good, if it's needed.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWe could probably trim down on the stage directions. "Phone call for Al. Al Coholic. Is there an Al Coholic here? Wait a minute..." would work just as well.
Yeah, that works better.
Check out my fanfiction!Sure.
(Note that it's an exact quote from the show. Choosing a different one, though, because it wouldn't have a reference to "bar" and this "prank name" is more common.)

Absent-minded professor and Neverwinter Nights DMNot sure how the caption adds anything in there.
The caption is the actual trope really, as that is the prank call.
Honestly, the pic doesn't jive with the caption; the caption's the actual trope while the pic's all about the reactions. I'd be fine with using the caption as the page quote.
The caption doesn't even say anything about a phone. Never mind that the image shows it's two people, one of whom thinks it's not funny and one that does. This "might as well be a page quote" thing has gone too far, the image adds a bunch of information.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Second link isn't working.
Both of these are muchmuch worse than 1.1
Well, maybe one of his post-prank quotes?
"If I ever find ya, I'm gonna strangle you till you see blue!"
Or something along those lines.
I have a minor issue that 1.1 looks more like crying than laughing. But if others see laughing there it works.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI don't see crying at all.
So can we settle on this one?
From The Simpsons, of course.
