The Guilds (Open Role Play)

Notes: The synopsis will be released in the main Role Play forum. I believe this post is large enough.

(Notes: Not for easily offended roleplayers. This sector can get full on in underestimation and mild insults. The preferred style of writing is literary but conversational or transcript is also accepted. Also, when one of your characters die, unless there is a high-ranking Priest or Druid who decides to resurrect you, it will be treated as permanent.)

Genres: Action, Fantasy, and Adventure. May or may not delve to other more subtle genres.

Character roleplayers are restricted to these races:

Human, Fairy, Elf, Demon, Angel, Spirit, and Dragon.

Here is the information about each race.

Humans - Advanced mainly in Technology, they are also winding experts in combat that requires physical strength. Strong and brave at heart, they are divided into Engineers, Warriors, and Hunters. Additional classes are Priests and Rogues.

Fairy - Talented in Magic and long-ranged combat, they are able to fly out of combat easily, and are swift runners. Mostly cunning and sly, they are divided into Sorcerers, Archers, and Rogues. Additional classes include Warlocks and Templars.

Elf - Representatives of Nature, they have unsurpassed agility and are particularly good with animals. Generous and pure, they have two Sects, the Tamers, and the Druids.

Demon - They harness extremely dark arts, and as thus are immune to dark curses that will kill any other race. Cruel at heart and willing to sacrifice just about anything, they have two classes: the Warlocks and the Infernals. Additional classes include Archers and Umbrans.

Angel - Reserved in every action and bearers of the Holy Powers, they can withstand any sort of Holy Magic and even use it against the wielders. They are also gifted with flight, albeit they last longer than the Fairies. They have two sects, the Templars and the Priests. Additional classes include Druids and Hunters.

Spirit - Sentient beings that roam in the physical world, according to each one's specialty, they are immune to the Element they are attached with. They are the only races that can Vanish, allowing them to become un-targetable by any sort of attacks. They have four main classes, the Infernals, the Aquanaids, the Atmophrons, and the Terranaids. Additional classes include Umbrans, Illumians, and rarely, Druids.

Dragons - Fiery, sentient beings that have lived long in the realm, they can assume both reptilian and humanoid forms, and they have heightened senses, along with a natural immunity to fire. In their dragon form, they have the ability to fly and are much larger than a small cottage. Their classes compromise mostly of Blackhearths, Infernals, and Warriors, although there has been some who are Templars and Hunters.

Factions (None of them are allied with each other in any way, so be prepared for mild insults going on. This is a roleplay.)

The Guild of Sainians - Home to the noblest and high-ranked of all beings, they mainly compose of Human Royalty, Archangels, Glorified Dragons, Superior Demons, Lord Spirits, Commanding Fairies, and Ruling Elves. They are well known for their composure towards each other, and their strong bonds as an alliance. Recently, they have opened up to every ranking available, just as long as the recruits are brave enough and are worthy.

Leader - High Commander (open place, will only be taken judging from the performance of the roleplayers)

The Brood - Unlike the Guild, they happen to be willing to accept just about everyone ever since their founding, and up to since they are still together. To cope with their apparent lack of nobility, they instead rely on trickery and deceit, up to the point that they can interrogate Royals who they manage to capture.

Leader - Superintendent (open as with the Guild)

The Wardens - The most mysterious of all three Factions, they are known for their nearly unbreakable alliance, with its members even letting themselves die than to get their confidential information revealed. Majority of them are cunning and sly, thinking before they act.

Leader - Baron (open, same terms as all the other Factions)

As for the personalities, I'd prefer that you will show them while roleplaying for added realism. You can be almost anyone here, save for omnipotent characters. No, I will not allow them in any way.

(The classes Priest, Rogue, Warrior, Hunter, Druid, and Warlock are based on World Of Warcraft)

(The Templar class is like the Paladin class of World Of Warcraft)

(The Tamer is an excellent class for getting different classes of creatures)

(Sorcerers are mostly good with Ritual Magic)

(Engineers are mostly reliant on technology, having few, if no, ability over magic)

(Archers are very strong with their DPS, and can attack from long range without being easily noticed)

(The Mage subclasses, in order:

Infernals - Fire

Terranaids - Earth

Umbrans - Darkness

Illumians - Light

Aquanaids - Water

Atmophrons - Air)

(Blackhearths can manipulate minerals from earth at will, and they can cause magma to erupt out of nowhere)

There are no limits on how many abilities one can invent, as long as it is related to the class one has selected, and is not too omnipotent for one's level.

Definite Interest. Do Demons have to be evil? No I'm not looking to make a good Demon just one who while out for #1 isn't sadistic or treacherous. Maybe a literal Noble Demon?

No, not at all. There could even be cases of Demons and Angels working together. It's just what their powers and abilities are.

And, of course, the Guilds they are in.

Interest as well. I think I'll make an Umbran of some kind. Though what character concept I want to dig up is a difficult decision... Hm.

Updated the main post. Hope you all well.

(No blood magic? Aww. Also I'm not quite sure how I should've handled this, so if you need me to change something please do tell.)

• Name: Kryn

• Race: Fairy

• Faction: Factions are not something Kryn concerns themselves with.

• Class: Sorcerer

• Backstory: Born in Scalyer, A small alcove of fairies that tend to keep to themselves, Kryn tends to look for anything at all to do and stay alive. Oddly the guy's born from both templars, with which you'd think they'd chase a school of light as well, but took a fascination in magic and well... Wound up like this. They spend most of their days travelling due to the isolation of their birth place and doing one-off jobs to make an income and be able to take care of themselves.

• Appearance: (I assume fairies are small.) Being barely the length of half your arm they have shoulder length white hair, which before you ask, they bleached (If possible in this world). Their tiny wings are a faint transparant cyan, barely noticable. Kryn's left eye seems to be whited out and is unfortunatly blind, which is covered by his hair mostly, while the other is colored pleasantly amber. Their choice of wardrobe can vary, although usually they like to wear short-sleeved shirts of varying colors alongside decently long trousers and almost always go barefoot. In combat Kryn'll usually wear something more sturdy and leather boots, to not get their feet cut off. Due to their small size it's impossible to wear any form of metal armor, even chainmail, as flying would be very difficult for them.

Are demons and angels actual from hell/heaven or just races that have the general characteristics associated with same?

They are only alike to the traditional ones, but don't generally come from Heaven or Hell.

You can make them from any location you want, even from an existing universe or some dimension you want to make up.

(Also, some high-level fairies can shift sizes.)

• Faction: None at the moment although he's intrigued by the Brood
• Class: Infernal
• Backstory: Ou'rook grew up with his tribe in caverns near a volcano. As he grew he studied the ways of fire and heat. He is currently on a coming of age walkabout called the kap'niva
• Appearance: Slightly over six feet tall, muscular, blocky build with hairless, leathery grey skin, two small horns protruding from his head and dark eyes. Usually wears sleeveless red and black robes, iron bracers and knee high leather boots with a dagger in each.

Actually what level do we start at?

At level 1, at first. The level cap is expected to be at 70.

Nobody did. I just said that Fairies who reach level 15 can shift to human size, so to save some trouble of them being crushed by big palms. (That's a cheaty kill)

(I'm not actually too sure. Gonna go make a Discussions page as soon as there are 5 players in.)
