That would be a new code in divxs. "PPC" - Prudish Pirate Cut.

So, is this out on Blu-Ray yet? I gotta use my PS 3 for something, after all...
Cool, thanks.
I just had the girl next to me on the plane watch this film on her TV. Told her to brace herself for some violence. I glanced, here and there, waiting for the church scene.
They cut it out.
The villains.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. How did they cut that scene out without some very major continuity errors?
They could just cut the mayhem in the church while still keeping everything else, specially the immediate aftermath.

That's a very fine essay.
Finally saw the movie. Pretty good, I gotta say, with really awesome fight scenes filled with what I like to call "Matrixing".
Personally, Kingsman is one of those weird movies where I have still no idea if I really liked it or not even month after watching it. I won't deny it was well-done, had some good jokes, some good actors and good special effects. Yet, there is something about it that bothers me and prevents me from fully liking it. Not really sure what, though I do see two potential reasons...
HULK IMPRESSIVE. LEARNED ME SOMETHING TODAY.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.HULK REVIEW EXCELLENT.
Although I think I agree with that bit about the movie being more powerful if the ending revealed that Eggsy is gay, instead of the anal joke. Still, great reads, thanks for the link.
... that would have actually been much more daring^^
That would've definitely made me one hell of a happy camper.
I skimmed. Nothing of value is evident in that review. Moving on.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Moving on to what?
Dealer's choice.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! So you posted a flippant remark about a movie review for no reason, then.
Okay.
As opposed to a gushing one for no reason?
Is it not permitted to have negative opinions about something? Or to express them?
Are we to all hold hands and sing Kumbaya? Cause I'd totally be down with that. I love that song.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Perhaps you could elucidate your issues with it, so that we may all be enlightened and thereby thrust forth the mighty engine of human knowledge.
Criticism directed at "crudity" and innuendo. I saw the movie. Don't recall anything particularly noteworthy to that effect, save for the princess at the end and perhaps Valentine throwing up? But Hulk dedicates a dozen paragraphs to wax on about it.
In comparing the movie to Austin Powers, it apparently wasn't blatant enough? Or something. More paragraphs.
The opening credits are bad because they spell the movie's name using CG Ied building rubble? More paragraphs.
Poor song choice. More paragraphs.
The movie doesn't explore the moral identity of middle eastern conflicts or provide an in-depth look at the fates of the people living there. More paragraphs.
Bad guy is all for rich people get richer and poor people die and it's bad that this is the bad guy's plan because more paragraphs.
More poor song choice. More paragraphs.
KINGSMAN ENDS ON AN ANAL SEX JOKE. More paragraphs.
Kanye West and whether you can accidentally succeed. More paragraphs.
I see lots of paragraphs, 16,000 words by Hulk's own account, but what I don't see is anything particularly noteworthy among them. Eye-roll worthy in some cases, but not noteworthy.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Huh. So you are criticizing a movie review...instead of the actual movie?
...So yeah. That was pointless.
The Prudish Pirate would be a great movie.
