Image recently added. Nothing terribly mookish about it, though.

I'm sure there are plenty more illustrative pictures of video game mooks, although I had little luck through googling. I'd suggest this one for a start.

Goddammit...I had a feeling this was going to happen. The suggestion doesn't really wow me but definitely says "mook" more than the one that's there now, and may be the best way to go about picturing the concept.

There has got to be a good Goomba image out there somewhere.

Goombas were my first thought as well, but I'm having a surprisingly difficult time finding a tasteful image. It seems that people really like to draw Goombas as victims...This is one of the mild ones.

This one is a bit busy, but it seems like Mario's having an easy enough time tossing the Goomba, at least.

I especially like the last ones.

I prefer something with an army of them, to show just how mundane or low on the hierarchy of villainy they really are.

Something like this, maybe.

[up] That just gave me another idea, but I've got this nagging feeling that I've seen something similar elsewhere on the wiki...Nevertheless, here are a couple images of it:

1, 2

I like, bonus points for being worth only 100 points.

First thing that came to mind is this scene in Super Mario RPG with Bowser and the Koopa Troop, but it seems to only come in sizes tiny and tinier 1

Yeah, I think that Bowser/Goombas image is a better fit here than where it's already in use for.

It could work yes. Would prefer another thread for the other trope after that though because [up][up] those are not very good options.

[up] The Battle of the 1000 Heartless, perhaps? They're not the mookiest mooks, but they're pretty mooky and the picture is clearer

18 is the clearest for me, but I'm a bit reluctant to [tup] it because it's a fanart.

Why does that elicit reluctance?

18 doesn't really have any focus on the mooks.

Yeah, for me it has a bit more focus on the weird-looking main character.

Re-clocking this one. At the very least, I'm good to pull the current for not being clear about the character's mookiness at all. Crowner for the suggestions?
