Huniepop~!

Speaking of the baggage system, I feel like there's a pretty wide disparity in how difficult some baggage are, or combinations of baggage. Like, HuniePop 2 tier list when? Not based on how much you like the girl, but how hard her baggages are.

I'm not even to the baggage yet and I'm failing.

Something it took me a while to grasp: When asking girls about themselves, you're not trying to ask a new thing every time. You're looking to ask the question that both girls would give the same answer to.

Also: Anyone else have an update pending for the game?

I'd like to see a lot the old Huniepop 1 gals come back with new looks.

Maybe a Singles date classic mode like the original as well.

Also finished the main campaign.

Fucking gods has never been this epic. Even Kratos would be proud.

Game has been made slightly easier, you can change gender/difficulty/Polly's junk midgame, new and changed gifts, and all content is now available even on easy.

If the MC didn't exist, Abia could have taken on the Nymphojinn herself. God Damn....

Finished the main game a couple days ago, working through post-game content for 100% completion on my first save. I'm working on a decently thorough review of the game. Of course it's this game I'm going to write a longform review for.

Also I've heard rumbling about the next major update coming relatively soon. I figure it'll be mostly quality-of-life changes. Saw something about a filter system for the store, for example.

Version 1.05 is out. Steam Achievements have been added.

Also also, in a discord stream in the unofficial discord, the developer mentioned being willing to change baggage in future patches. For example, Nora's Emotionally Guarded effectively negates her Vindictive baggage in Incel mode.

The Polly's... Eggplant update has finally dropped, although patch notes still aren't out. The most important part of the update is that the relevant CG — that is to say, the Polly-Ashley CG — now has two different versions based on if you chose Innie or Outie. In both cases, the unclothed versions will now show the appropriate... fruit. There's also been small changes to the clothed versions to differentiate them.

There's also been a couple small changes to the tutorial and Zoey-Lillian CGs. Speaking of Zoey, she will no longer ask questions where the correct answer is the other girl present. You also now enable/disable Alpha Mode through the save file options menu from the main menu.

According to HunieDev in an unofficial discord he's in, Steam trading cards are also finished and simply waiting for approval.

And Polly's Junk is quite......massive, to say the least.

I finally bought Huniepop 2 sometime ago during a sale on gog.com which was much cheaper than on other sites like Steam and Humble bundle. The gameplay is still the same but now there's a stamina feature and switching to please both girls which I'm trying getting use to it. Hopefully I can collect all the CGS in the game.

In related news, looks like the developers are making a new Huniepop game codenamed ''HS'':, which might stand for Hunie School and Tiffany, Aiko and Kyanna are back!

About a week two and a half weeks ago (where does the time go), the HuniePop Double Date Art Collection dropped. Included were unused assets for girls who were originally considered but didn't make it in. (I've spoilered their identities in case anyone wants to go buy it and be surprised, but it's not that a big deal.)

The two cut girls were Audrey and Nikki. Audrey's early design apparently involved a strong Christian aesthetic, though the dev has said in a fan discord that it was indeed an early design and even if she did make it into the final game, her design would have likely changed significantly. Nikki's design leaned into her HCS portrayal as a titty streamer gamer girl, although this too was an early design that likely would have been changed if she made it into the final game.

Shame best girls couldn't make it.

I never beat the final boss of the second game (I play the series for the gameplay I swear) because of how difficult and luck dependent it is.

The 2nd game was more difficult than I thought. Not only do i have to check and my sure my dates stamina didn't run out, i also learn about the baggage mechanic where some girls have things they don't like and refuses to accept them as gifts during dates like Ashley is allergic to flowers and Brooke hates cheap gifts.

I might have to do a new game in easy if I fail in more dates.
