The area was more crowded than the marauder would have liked, but he got the sense that it wouldn't be hard to find trouble. Kyla's response took Uziel aback, however, "You tricky little...."
He shook his head, "You're a Jedi?"

Kyla paused and gave Uziel a confused look. "Strictly speaking, no. I don't associate with Order anymore, if that's what you're worried about..." She looked around, briefly, and lowered her voice. "Did you not know that I could use the Force or something? Couldn't you sense that I had Sensitivity?"
Not entirely dead."Jedi. Sith. You all use fancy energy blades to block all incoming fire," Darius noted putting on his helmet before scanning the area for key observation points.
"Gods," Uziel brought the palm of his gauntlet to meet the top of his visor, "Call me inattentive, but you never did any of that around me. I'm not very Force-aware at the best of times, though."
"Does that mean you have a saber?"
Flesh is a design flaw.[Slums]
"Mind keeping your voices down?!" Kyla said in a hushed but scolding tone. "Yeah, I can use the Force, but I prefer not to! At least, in public. And even then, I prefer subtlety!" Despite this, and despite his claim that he wasn't very aware, she was a little bit hurt by the fact that Uziel hadn't sensed the Force within her. She hadn't exactly been actively hiding it, at least not lately. She sighed. "And yes, I do have a lightsaber... But don't ask to see it!"
Not entirely dead. There were plenty of vantage points in the area that Darius could see, although none looked too promising for being undetected. At the heart of the slums in the middle of the afternoon, there were simply too many people for that. Laundry was hung out to dry on rooftops, while people lounged around smoking, drinking, playing cards, or otherwise keeping themselves occupied as they kept an eye out.
Jim's answering message was a rather humorous song set to the tune of what was probably a popular song on the planet, though Rakko wouldn't have heard of it. It said to leave a message, and he'd get back as soon as he could.
"Aww," Uziel whined semi-sarcastically. The sight, or even the possibility of seeing a lightsaber always made him giddy like a child. "Well, I'd let you see mine..." he said with an obfuscated smile.
He wondered what color Kyla's was before remembering why he was there. Behind his helmet's intimidating visor, his eyes were darting around the area, looking for a quieter place in the slums where they might be able to set up their ambush. He shook his head; they'd have to wait until nightfall to have any chance at pulling it off like he'd planned.
Assuming Kyla didn't ask anything of him, he'd pose an open question of his own, "So, how do we find the biggest slaver-gang around here? Just ask?"

Flesh is a design flaw.Rakko sighed. He'd have to put off his investigation for the time being. It seemed like it was going nowhere. He commed the others.
"Where are you all? And what are you doing?" he asked anyone who was listening in the group.
"You're an enemy of art and I pity your ignorance" - Domingo Montoya Help save the rainforest for free simply by going to Ecosia.org."A job. Slums criminal cleanup," Darius responded over the comms observing the various vantage points.
He unslung his sniper rifle and checked the gas canisters, his blaster rifle would suffice nicely.

"Of course I know a lot about the Force." Said Kyla, walking next to Uziel. "It's obvious why, isn't it?"
Their conversation was interrupted, however, and shortly afterwards they arrived at the slums. Kyla looked around, and a look of mild disgust grew on her face. "Reminds me of Nar Shaddaa..." She muttered.
