We don't really know too much about the various super science organizations, but Tesladyne was definitely the biggest, and Big Science seems to me to be second biggest—or at least in that general tier. So the only one they could really go to was Tesladyne. And they're not gonna call the people who killed Tesladyne, because even if Majestic does save the world, they'd turn right around and use the weapons to conquer it.

Tesladyne was trusted, for good reason. Majestic is not trusted, for good reason. That's it, really.

Not to mention that the last thing Big Science might want is DELPHI, Daedalus or Helsingard proper to get involved, so keeping it tight lipped might be wise.

At least one Majestic member is slightly reasonable.

Clarification query: Or are you saying that they are Tesladyne that's been conscripted/gang pressed into working for Majestic?

This will backfire.

MJ 12 is pretty good about practicality. Giant Robots never caught on for good reason.

To be fair, the "Giant Mecha's didn't catch on in RL" comes a bit short given that RL doesn't have to deal with Biomega beasts

No even in Atomic Robo they never caught on. Too expensive and impractical. Mech Robo needed 5 people just to make it walk.

True but they had 15 years to improve upon them.

And the giant walking pyramid worked pretty well ?

It actually rolled. And after it was killed another giant mechanical beast appeared.

And you'd be surprised at how long some things take to develop.

They've tried to make non-giant robots try to catch on at a far greater rate than they're working in real life, and with much greater success. Even if they're not a widespread entity.
