It's 2016, is there any way that HTTPS support could be added to the site? This provides privacy for users (particularly with some of the content on the site), and also protects passwords from being exposed en route. For what it's worth, Google also gives higher priority to sites supporting it.

There is no excuse for sending passwords unencrypted these days; even without full HTTPS, at least have the login form post via HTTPS or something. If you're on a wifi, anyone with access can steal your password. Hope you don't share it with your email address.
And on the subject of passwords, I'd hope they're properly hashed instead of stored in plaintext or some shitty MD 5 hash.
