As far as i understand it a lot of stuff on the wiki is being changed right now, so i figured giving my two cents couldn\'t hurt.

First, the random buttons. Since there\'s a random trope button at the bottom of the page, why does the one next to the search bar only give tropes as well? Having two buttons that do the same thing seems silly.

Personally i think the button next to the search bar should give actually random pages, that is to say choosing randomly from every page on the site. Since this feature exists on almost every other wiki i don\'t really see why tv tropes can\'t do it. Especially now that everything has apparently been recoded to make it more organized.

The random media button also ignores some media types, most notably fanfic. I usually use the pitch generator as a random media generator because i think it works better.

My main point is that for a random button, choosing from more stuff than you need is vastly prefferable to choosing from too little. If you don\'t want the random media button to give you fanfic but it does you can just press it until you get something that\'s not fanfic, but if you want it to give you fanfic and it doesn\'t you can\'t do anything about it.

Ideally there would be settings for the random buttons for what you want to see, but that might be a bit excessive.

I also see some issues with the browse tropes page. It only shows pages that have an image, and that seems strange. And the option to sort them in a random order always gives the same order, which seems weird.

There, that was my dumb whining about features nobody but me wants.

I think you might want to repost this in this thread. And please improve your grammar and spelling when doing so. I don't think your suggestions are bad but we be pretty picky about grammar and spelling here.
