Regarding the voice actors, I found it a bit funny that Kawori and Watari are also Neko and Ryouta; especially considering that Watari is basically the anti-Ryouta. Also, hearing Natsuki Hanae's voice reassured me. It's pitch perfect for Asahi.

If you're talking about the OVA about the child years of the cast, then I believe that was adapted from five or so chapters from Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso: Coda.
