Yeah okay, this makes some sense, but the next episode preview sounds like she will die.

She seems to be evil, actually. She had a villainous smirk in one scene.

Episode 11 is out:

So yeah it turns out that it was Kiri in disguise all along. Good job figuring it out guys.

I like that they are trying to formulate actual plan to beat the Basilisk, instead of Yuu just upgrading his gun to do it. If only the action could move a little faster it would be great.

Begs the question of why Yuu doesn't just flip the damn thing on its back so they can all just wail away at it without fear of its third eye. He HAS used Leviathan's power to hurl Dragons into the sky before, and he's shown that he CAN control the power. Is it simply a matter of not being able to get close enough?

This final fizzled rather than banged.

First Yuu beats Kiri because "you can beat any human" no other explanation needed. Then Basillisk goes down super easily as the plan goes off without a hitch and they don't even have to use one of the countless backup plans they had preprepared.

I liked the emotional moments with his sister and Iris more but even those didn't have the omph the final episode should have. And then it ends with everyone greeting him in class, so... yay?

Thoroughly average series. Not the best of the season but also definitely not the worst. Didn't hate any of the episodes but none stood out either. A decent time filler, and I'll watch a second season if it happens but if not, I won't be terribly distressed either.

... wait, this was the final episode. Ha ha ha.

Verdict: Not as bad as World Break. Not as good as Absolute Duo.

So it WAS a matter of range, after all. Once he could get close enough, Yuu DID use anti-gravity on it.

My only beef was that Yuu didn't kill Kili when he had the chance. The problem with Cute and Psycho is that she's still psycho, and she's committed a LOT of death-penalty crimes. Yuu also had "kill on sight" orders regarding her.

Otherwise, a truly heart-warming episode. I like Iris, she is so refreshingly innocent. The fact that Yuu trusts her more than his (adopted) sister says a great deal. They really do go well together.

I wouldn't mind a second season. It sure as heck is far more entertaining than Infinite Stratos, which completely destroyed the drama and romance by surrounding the MC with a bunch of Clingy Jealous Girl nutjobs and hit him with both Oblivious to Love and Crippling Overspecialisation.

This is what Infinite Stratos could have been if the staff gave a damn.
