I'd argue that Ghost Factory alone makes Elma a really solid support character, and that you get decent DPS out of it as well is icing on the cake.

I sure said that!

I'm admittedly talking from the perspective of controlling them, since support characters as AI are bad at using and maintaining Overdrive and thus can't really slay any particularly notable tyrants on their own. Ghost Factory would be useful over Ghostwalker as a team leader move though, using Shadowrunner to avoid aggro and then spam positionals for effective damage.

As annoying as it is that you have to bring Elma and Lin along for basically any mission with voice work in it, at least the two of them are extremely solid.

Elma moreso than Lin. However, one would think they'd make the likes of Irina and Lin mandatory rather than Elma and Lin (gameplay wise), since many players focus on DPS.

TBH, I never found a reason to use Irina for her support arts after a certain point. When you can usually kill whatever you're fighting as long as it's somewhat in your level range, you probably don't need a support party member. Though it's nice to have I guess.

Right. Farming Red Milsaadi Hoods, and I only know one place to get them (Fn site 110, where you do A Girls Wings).

Killing a single one at a time is taking too long (I want enough to give everyone the augment I'm making, so I need more). Where's a place where I can kill multiples of these assholes at once?

There's a Ganglion base in Cauldros (southeast) where there's many of them. You can also find them climbing up the volcano in the same continent.

There's also a bunch of Milsaadi hanging out on Talon Rock Summit.

Cool. Will they all give the Red Milsaadi hoods?

They should. That's where I go to farm those things for ether resistance augments.

Double Post:

Where do I go to get Shiny Black Caro plates faster?

I've been hitting Wildcat Fortress, but if there's a place where more of the right kinds of Caro's gather, it'd be a great help.

That's kind of the iffy part; I tried searching for a reliable grind spot, but in the end, I just used reward tickets.

I want to save reward tickets for the stuff that can't be gotten easily by grinding honestly.

That's why you keep farming tickets. It's far preferable than actually killing the required enemy in most cases.

That's taking a while.

I've been trying to max out tickets again, but I'm only getting at maximum 35 through rewards.

Sometimes less.

That's why you gotta milk that Global Nemesis at every chance you get. If you aren't strong enough to go after Yggdralith Zero, join up with a party, they might be willing to help.

I've been missing both him and the Telethia Prime lately. I don't always have the opportunity to play even when I do check regularly.

Double post.

Right. So I finally got both Evasion XX Augment, and Ether Resistance XX augments.

Decided to go after Telethia the Endbringer (or whoever that dude is again).

He still wreck my crew, but I was still up, but I was also doing zero damage to him.

I've gotten too used to just using the weapons of the Ares to wreck everything. Fighting something that takes barely any damage from the old Agausumer(sp) Canon is tougher then I realized.

So what do I need to do to hurt this dude?

Did you remember to take the reflection negation augments for your elements? You'll need thermal, physical, and especially ether reflection negation to be perfectly safe in an Ares.

Yeah. I got all of them still equipped.

I was able to avoid being hurt, but I'm barely doing any damage. The rest of my part more of less got wiped out as well, but I get the feeling that's not anything surprising.

They also have the negation augments and Ether resistance augments (but not the Evasion ones. That would take too long).

What I really need to do it hurt the bastard significantly. How do I do that?

It takes time. You can't expect to kill the Ruler of Fates right away. It also has a devastating electric attack plus the tail swing, hence why it would be a good idea to have everyone's evasion at 600. It's tedious, but it's the only way your team's skells can survive. If you can't afford to do that, just take it on solo, and you'll beat it eventually.

So I need to up everyone else's evasion as well then.

Guess that's why I need more reward tickets. I got lazy and used some for the final ingredients for the Ether resistance Augments, and now I regret it.

Only down to about 4000 tickets, but if I want to collect for more Evasion augments, I'm gonna have to start grinding for both materials and tickets it seems.sad

I'd rather have the rest of my party with me when I do it. More people who can do damage could speed it up.

Maybe I'll see about getting those Ultrafauna slayer augments as well, at least for my Ares 90.

Welp, back to the grind.....god, I hate grinding. I truly do. It's much harder in the post game as well. Perhaps I should consider starting fresh and gathering the materials for this stuff early instead, so that I can have it ready ahead of time.

Well, that's for another time I suppose.

That probably only applies to the precious resources (ie Bonjelium); everything else you can easily grind via reward tickets.

Yeah, but those tickets take time to get. Lately, it seems like it's taking forever for me to grind them up, and I keep missing the Global Nemesis battles too, which means I'm only getting about 14-35 at a time.

That's too slow. Before, I was almost constantly maxed out at 9999. Now, it's a constant struggle to get up my ticket amount.
