Notably, there is one weapon category that exists only as a crafting recipe.
It's kinda shit, though.
Today I defeated Pharsis for the first time ever.
For reference, she is the second highest level boss in the game, next to The Ruler of Fates, a battle I'm all too familiar with.

SE Sylvalum, I think. One of those big giant orbs in the sky.
Even if you're armed to take on The Ruler of Fates, Pharsis is another story.
She uses gravity attack more than ether attacks, for starters, and can inflict the debuff "Time Bomb" that can take out a big chunk of your health. Not helping is her ability to heal when she's dying.
IIRC, there's an augment for Time Bomb, but I don't think it completely negates the effects.
Gravity's also harder to negate than any of the other elemental effects. Almost no armor helps with it, especially on Skells.
I sure said that! You could always use that one godslaying build and just OHKO it.
Your resistances don't mean shit for dick if you don't give it time to do anything.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Well, I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. I'm still working on getting the materials for two more Level 60 Skells.
Then I will rule the fate of the Ruler of Fates.
I also did two runs with Yggdralith Zero, and took on Telethia Plume again.
Hopefully that will help with this Pharsis bitch as well....along with the right weapons and augments I'm thinking.
One Strip! One Strip!Don't fret over making the one hit kill build. It's usually restrictive and often counterproductive in some scenarios (such as squad missions).
I'd only recommend doing the one hit kill build if you plan on getting all of the achievements. Makes getting those 100 indigen slayer achievements a whole lot easier to deal with.
I do lots of stuff. The real question is am I any good at that stuff.I've thought about making that build, if only because it looks funny to see Superbosses die in one shot.
And at this point I'm not playing for efficiency, I'm playing to try things out.
If you destroy Pharsis's tail it can't do the Time Bomb attack anymore.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! If you destroy Pharsis, it can't do the time bomb attack anymore.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! That is also true.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! The tail's tougher than you think; it took several Agashura Cannon attacks to knock that out.
Sounds like I'll need lots of Overdrives apparently.
I need to work on getting augments for staying in Cockpit mode.
And increasing my my TP count for my Skell as well.
One Strip! One Strip! You could always just go for 600 evasion and 120 ether resistance if you intend to go only after The Ruler of Fates.
I'll likely do both.
After I get two more Level 60's I'll need to work on getting materials for high level augments.
One Strip! One Strip!Double post:
Finally got enough Silver Xe-Dom Crests. Now just have to do the Golden while collecting enough Reward Tickets for the other stuff, and I can finally make the two Level 60 Skells I want.
Then I'll start stomping faces.
Also nearly got everyone up to level 60. Gonna be good to go soon enough for finishing up the last few parts of the game.
Edit: By the way, I know you get Advanced Cranks from Sedirs, but what parts of the body to increase the chances of getting said Advanced Cranks.

One Strip! One Strip! Not a clue. I just G-Bustered them with a bunch of Mechanoid Slayers equiped and hoped for the best.
I do lots of stuff. The real question is am I any good at that stuff.
Currently doing post game, and working on getting my other party members to level 60.
Cross Elma and Lin are there, along with a few others.
One Strip! One Strip!
