Yeah, there's nothing there that looks like it's a dream to me.
I think it looks dreamy enough to not be pulled, but it's not exactly great.
Check out my fanfiction! It shouldn't be that hard to find some other illustration with a mere google search.
For starter, this Disneyland ad◊.
Or some nice deviant art.
4.3 looks a bit more like Things That Go "Bump" in the Night.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanNone of them looks like dream to me either. They look more like actual demons haunting the focus character.

"Hotlinking is bad, mmkay?"
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI wish that this image illustrates bad dreams. After all, the game Ni GHTS: Journey of Dreams does involve the playable characters suffering bad dreams on a nightly basis.
Ivan the terrible being haunted by his victims◊
It was first thing that came to mind

New theme music also a boxAh, I like that one.
It's Helen Cartwright running from nightmares. It's from Ni GHTS: Journey of Dreams.
I'd like to see some further suggestions,or we can go with what's been suggested already
New theme music also a boxLet's just go with the suggestion.
Which one?
I think 10.1 is the best one so far, so giving it a tentative .
10.1 looks good but it might need a caption.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynman"For a moment,Ivan the terrible becomes Ivan the terribly sorry"
New theme music also a box+1 for 10.1. Maybe "The deeds of your days may become the demons of your nights."?

I would have to disagree with 10.1. Helen Cartwright fleeing from her nightmares is a good example of bad dreams.
It doesn't really look like a dream unless you know the work.
It's like this. Helen Cartwright has been spending more time hanging out with her friends than playing the violin. And Helen's violin recital is only a few days away. Because she hasn't been spending a lot of time with her mom as of late, she starts to feel great guilt over the distance that has grown between them. And because of this, she's experiencing bad dreams on a nightly basis.
The fact that it has to be explained is an indicator that it's not particularly good as a page image.
Yes, you might personally understand it because you do know the work, but not everyone knows about it, and, going by some of the responses here, many don't understand the image as well.
Zany Dragon, please read How To Pick A Good Image and Just A Face And A Caption. "Good example" is not among the criteria for a good page image. It kind of doesn't matter how good an example it is. Much more importantly: How does it look to someone who isn't familiar with the source?

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. Here's 10.1 uploaded, should I go ahead and put it on the page?

New theme music also a box
This one didn't have a picture previously, but it had a comment that the image was removed following another discussion. This comment was also removed by Zany Dragon, though since then I've messaged him and I pointed out the importance of keeping those comments, and he apologized.
The new picture is not terribly illustrative, I must say.
