Why do you even stalk death?

As Ullioc flew back, he snapped his fingers.

His fangs appeared in his grin again. "Now."

The 10 stabs he had made earlier joined together where the stinger connected to the tail. The ephemeral copies solidified and replicated the motion on their own, severing the stinger in its entirety.

Ullioc's small victory was temporary. Due to his momentary distraction, he didn't stop himself in time to avoid slamming into a tree.

Really hard.

Amy climbed down the tree and decided to run to survey the area. She beckoned Tezca to follow and kept her muskets accessible.

Scaly Sinister Scorpions

Noticing Ullioc stagger back and noticing the Deathstalker was vulnerable, James leapt back, the pinwheel of pure red energy ready to be hurled at the Grimm...and stopping himself when the noise of something crashing into a tree distracted him...taking his eyes off their adversary for a few seconds.

"P-Partner...? U-Ulloic! A-Are you alright...?"

Quickly turning around to face the Grimm again, he swung Sunset in a vertical arc, causing the pinwheel to become a vertical buzzsaw made of energy, hoping that it'd hit.

Tezca quickly followed Amy while keeping a lookout for a temple, Grimm or other students.

Victory!

Selene was sent flying through the air from the force of the blast, landing with a pretty damn decent thud on the ground a few feet away. Seconds later Nightrider, still in board form, landed front blade in mere inches from the side of her face. "Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh crapthatwasfuckingclose."

Swarmer

This thing's resilience was incredible. Mint did not have a clear answer to how to kill the snake just yet, so she opted to follow another old maxim: when in doubt, develop the situation. Conserving energy, she fell back on her semblance and opted for a series of lunges and feints, using quick in-and-out strikes on the white head to rile it some more.

Temple on the Horizon

Iris then looked up, and faintly saw what seemed to be a black temple off in the distance.

"M-Morgan...I think the relic is t-this way...", she said while pointing in the direction of the temple, "I-I saw a black temple...or s-something..."

"AM I GOING TOO FAST?" Halle asked, not actually slowing down. "I WOULDN'T WANT MY PARTNER TO BE UNCOMFORTABLE, AFTER ALL."

Morgan and Iris

What, you think it was going to be that easy? Haha, no. At that moment, a huge boulder fell fron the sky and landed in front of them.

On second glance, it wasn't just a boulder. It grew arms, legs, a head...until it looked humanoid. A humanoid golem made of a meteorlike rock. Hey, a new Grimm species. Again.

Raggy and Sel are fucked

The footsteps from behind came again, and this time, they could see who it was.

Bright gold armor, a faint crimson glow. Visor hiding her face, arms crossed.

"..."

The Queen of Vale.

Spider-Grimm, Spider-Grimm, Does whatever a Spider can

Marvin grimaced as it escaped from him, he thought for sure he was better than that. He nodded at Scarlet as she saved his hide yet again, blasting the rest of the spines out of the way with his lightning before sending a bolt at the Spider Grimm's head.

Tree Off

Seemingly as if it had no blind spot, one of the branches reached up and smacked Mefus into the ground, sending her sliding past Connor. As for the Scotboy, the roots raised up and slammed down as he came close, in an attempt to hit him.

Air Fight

The bat Grimm was killed by Dian almost instantly, dropping her to the floor. As the two fought on, the horde thinned quickly, making it easier to see with every one they killed. Up until they were both yanked into the air by an even larger Bat Grimm.

Slime Time

The slimy creature pushed through the treeline, toppling the wooden towers as it lumbered closer. Now that it was closer, Lena could clearly see what looked like a core in the center, albeit it was past a very thick, slimy body.

With surprisingly quick speed, several tendrils lashed out, attempting to either smash or grab the girls.

'''Yep. Grim's a Dick.'''

Selene got up slowly, holding her head, before finally turning around and seeing her. "Um. Raggy. We've got a problem. A biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig one."

Ground

"Owe,"

Mefus laid on her back for a second before jumping up. Her aura flared a little to help with the falling wounds. She stretched a second before she readied her weapons and ran forward. Taking a flying leap she let the spinning blades fly from her wrists as fast as buzz saws aiming to cut through some of the thicker limbs. Before rebounding off the base of the tree and shooting red glowing rounds from her sidearm before pushing back off the base and into cover.

"I fly on own term!" Quartz exclaimed as he slashed at the claw holding him repeatedly before pressing his blade against it, pretty much trying to saw the damn thing off.

"Stop!" Dian shouted, grabbing the Grimm's legs to keep herself from being held up just from the claws in her shoulders, "We can get a bird's eye view!"

Quartz paused for a couple seconds, looking back at Dian.

"Oh, makes sense... Can do that by own too, also, you know?"

Sure hope it's not radioactive

The spider jumped once more, over the lightning. It landed in front of the two.

One of its spine covered legs lunged towards Marv, another towarss Scarlet.

Dian glared at him, ignoring the pain in her shoulders before looking around. "There's the temple." She said.

Lovebirds

"Damn it did I really just do that." He opened his eyes after being slightly pushed back by the hit. Looking at what h he crashed into.

"Well. That's just lame."

He sighed before gesturing for Yan to come with him. "Now that we've gotten off its sight you're not gonna go back there are you? Let's get to the temple and finish this. You can complain about not getting your Goliath fight later when we're at the academy alright?"

Maren shakes their head, "N-no. You're fine. A hero should be able to handle this."

Aw yesss-I mean, shit

The explosion didn't do as much to Raggy as it did to Selene, mostly because of him standing a fair bit further away from the agonizing Grimm. That said, the gust of wind still blew right in his face, causing him to just barely avoid getting knocked down as he raised his hand in a gesture of triumph.

Then Selene got his attention by pointing out that they still have a problem. In fact, perhaps bigger than three of such Grimm they've just fought.

He turned around to see The Queen herself and his brows furrowed for a moment... before he smiled as he grabbed Keindahan two-handed. "Well, of all the things I suspected not the entrance of Our Majesty herself." He spoke calmly, yet cheerfully as he stared the new threat down. "Well then, come hither, Queen of Valoran Peoples. A young, dumb commoner I might be, I won't back down from you."

Rock Devil

Iris then looked up at this strange new Grimm that had just appeared before her, shaking with fear.

"N-no...gotta be brave...g-gotta be brave..."

She then tried having her drone fire another large green laser beam at the rocky beast.

Asimov and Friends

What greeted the galloping mech was a small group of Creeps shuffling around. The two legged lizard creatures stumbled around aimlessly until they caught sight of something unfamiliar: Halle.

The Grimm immediately moved with unexpected finesse, moving speedily though the underbrush to attack Halle and her passenger.

"Eep! Monsters!" Maren swiftly takes out Flowering Grave in shotgun form and fires at the oncoming Creeps.

Halle angled Zarathustra directly up as they continued moving, hoping to dust the monsters with enough ice to slow them down and line them up for Maren. "WEIRD THAT THERE ISN'T A GENDER NEUTRAL FORM FOR THAT, YOU KNOW?" Halle shifted her gallop into a more stable, rapid-stepping skitter, trying to give Maren better stability.

Maren gives Halle a confused look as they keep shooting, "Huh? Neutral what for what?"
