Mefus followed them into the crowd and turned to see the queen in casual clothing. She paused than said,

"Okay, lets go get some crepes."

She held out a hand,

"You look lonely, and this is a couples event."

Her smile showed bright but the meaning was clear, Alice didn't fit in going to a fair alone if that was the aim.

Marlet

Scarlet heard the sounds a ways off and grabbed Marvin by the forearm and began dragging him. "Quickly minion! I hear the parade! The perfect place to pick up lonely hearts!" She declared.

Flinching instinctively as the coffin dropped to the ground, Connor finally drew Mors before muttering to Dian "D'you want tae press onwards? Or shall we leave this house o' horrors an' go find somethin' more hospitable?"

Dian blinked as the arrow exploded with a ball of fire..."Let's go on..."

"As you wish" sighed Connor as he got a better grip on Mors

"Probably best if you take the lead, I dinnae want tae get in your line o' fire."

Queen Alice shook her head. "I ran away from the parade because they wanted me to be the Guest of Honor and I have better things to do."

She puffed out a bit of smoke from her cigarette and smiled slightly. "...Hah. You kids. Inviting an old woman like me to the festival. I didn't think anyone was that thoughtful these days. But don't worry. I'm fine. Run along."

Dian and Connor would find themselves in the graveyard with the open graves and the wailing live corpses.

...Of course, they would also see Lena's group up ahead.

James paused for a few moments, glancing over at the direction of the parade and back to the Queen-In-Disguise.

...I guess she's one of those who'd rather have their freedom instead of being stuck putting up with typical noble manners... The human mused, adjusting his glasses and looking at the attractions and the options.

...Aside from the haunted house, there was a few boring options and one he was hoping to avoid. Although it'd probably go un-noticed anyway.

"...well, maybe we thought you'd be...um, less likely to be found if you're...you know, with a group. That...um, tends to draw less attention. And, um, with all due respect...um...if y-you're, um, this 'rebellious', you're not as...um, old as you think."

...I highly doubt that's a reassuring thing to say.

Alice couldn't help but laugh. "Boy, I'm forty-seven. Don't try to flatter me, I know I'm not as young as I used to be. And like I said, I have better things to do. I appreciate the offer, but I..."

Alice didn't get a chance to finish that sentence, because a very nervous Diana gasped and pointed at something behind her.

Alice frowned. "Great. Bodyguards. I need to hide."

James flinched and went slightly red. Well, at least for a few moments things were in an upbeat mood, although when Diana pointed out the guards approaching, his mind raced at ways to escape or at least provide a distraction.

...Okay, think fast, quick, quick, quick...

Too frantic, his arms pointed in two different directions, one towards the haunted house, and the other was an attraction that is practically the complete opposite. ...Well, aside from the darkness...and that it's sort of a couples thing.

No. No. NO. I REFUSE.

"J-Just pick s-something a-and run."

Marlet

Marvin grinned as Scarlet took command. "sure thing, Red, sounds like a lot of fun." He couldn't help but think of all the cute girls and guys that would be there, it was all he could do to not lick his lips.

Royal Pain

"Your Highness!" Ieria called out as she moved into the group's sight, the guards behind her. She turned to them and waved her hand, signaling for them to disperse before turning back to the Queen. "I understand your need to wander, but can you please keep one of us by your side?"

Scarlet visibly shivered. " Geez, Lily I can sense you being creepy up here. Please tone down how much of a perv you are or we'll scare everyone off."

Mefus looked at her scroll and after a quick message it vibrated she looked and put an arm over Alice's shoulder,

"Than shaved ice real quick,"

The scroll was in her hand on the shoulder with the screen tilted visible only to the queen,

''Don't run, walk with Mefus to a booth you could pass for a relative than slip away there. Cyanea''

Faunus Trio: Game Booth

Tezca walked up to the game booth, taking interest in the setup. From what he could tell from watching the previous player, the goal was to use foam dart guns to shoot at targets scattered at of varying height and distances. each target was worth a certain number of points, and prizes were given if the player managed to rack up a certain number of points

"Excuse me-" Tezca began, gaining the attention of one of the booth attendants.

"Hi there, I'm guessing you three want to play?" the attendant asked, as she finished resetting the targets. "It's six lien per clip, and and 15 for 3."

Tezca nodded and handed the money to the attendant, who set a loaded dart gun and 2 extra magazines on table. Each magazine was filled with 12 foam darts.

"So who wants to play first?" he asked Amy and Quartz.

Dian moved forward, aiming at the graves in case something popped up. "this isn't real." She told Connor, yet she kept her crossbow aimed.

"Is probably best if one of you went first, me think. I mean, am not exactly sure of how thing works, you know?" Quartz said as he pointed to the pistol, taking a close look at it as if he was trying to figure out how it worked.

"I like the sound of this game!" said Amy. "I'm ready to go."

Keeping a firm grip on Mors, Connor muttered "It's nae real? Could hae fooled me." Not entirely reassured by the statement, Connor kept as far away from the graves as possible.

Alice sighed when Ieria arrived. "....I don't want to take part in the parade. We discussed this already. I hate parades, and I have better things to do."

She frowned. "And I especially hate Lover's Day parades...."

Ferris Wheel

"Oh, c'mon!" Isabelle groaned as she moved to help Halle with Iris. "Morgan, you just gonna let your girlfriend do all the work for you? Get over here and help us out!"

Mefus paused and looked at her phone before typing again. There was no use in playing it off now as she looked at the woman who had addressed us.

"Hi Miss Jade, why does it matter? Can't Miss V.."

She paused before using the surname,

"Can't Miss V level a small city?"

I think it'd be best we get out of here before things turn ugly. Go on, run. Do it.

The human sighed and glanced to the side at the queen-in-disguise and the guards.

"...you said she needed to be at the parade...? Looks like it'll be over soon anyway...besides, a rather unhappy and bored looking...um, figurehead in a parade isn't exactly...going to give people much encouragement...?"

...well, at least this is a distraction for the moment...

Dian stalked forward, using her barefeet to feel the ground for any sort of trap. "Just stay calm..."

Gritting his teeth, Connor muttered "Hard tae be calm when it seems the dead are risin' from their graves."

"And then grow calm when we burn them." Dian hissed.

Royal Pain

"I understand, your highness. And I am it going to force you to attend, but at the least, I must accompany you, as your bodyguard." She told her, matter of factly. She then turned to the students and smiled kindly. "There is no problem here, you see. I am simply looking after my charge, things will not get ugly."

Marlet

"I doubt I'm the only one of us two who is excited by this." Marvin said with a teasing grin as he leered at Scarlet.
