And well, it looks like we won't get much more Nintendo based info on the Switch until 2017.

I do wonder if that means Nintendo won't release more information...but nothing's stopping other companies.

I'm guessing that means we'll be getting a proper Switch Direct in January assuming the deal with Breath of the Wild releasing in March is true.

Just as a heads up, Nintendo will release their FY 2016 Second Quarter Financial Earnings just after the Japanese Stock Market closes at 3:15 pm JST, 7:15 AM CEST, 11:15 pm PDT.

They will also have a Briefing the next day at around 10 am JST, 1 am CEST, 6 pm PDT.

Don't expect much info on the Switch, but there might be something surprising, but again, don't hold your breath.

Financials are up.

Nintendo has revised their earnings forecast downwards. EDIT: This was done due to a strong yen.

Only million sellers are Pokemon gen 3 remakes and Kirby: Planet Robobot.

No new info on the Switch other than a confirmation of the name change and reiterating the March 2017 release.

Breath of the Wild still says "2017."

Pokemon Go has a noticeable effect on 3DS sales in America and Europe not so much Japan.

Kimishima expects the Switch to sell 2 million units by the end of the fiscal year.

Nintendo's investor slides are up. 3DS hardware and software are up YOY in America and Europe. All hail Pokemon Go. Yokai Watch is at 500K in Europe and is outpacing its Japanese sales over the same period, though with Pokemon upcoming I personally doubt that will last. They can't meet demand for the Pokemon Go Plus. And some people thought the delay would kill that. 3.5 million downloads for the Pokemon Sun/Moon demo, so that's positive.

Pokémon Sun & Moon are the best pre-selling games in Nintendo's history.

[up][up] No need for the iQue anymore since mainland China finally got their foot out of their ass when it comes to video games.

The Miitopia Direct was weird. Seems to be Tomodachi Life + classic JRPG.

It came out here today. My brother got to Target right as it opened and the line was already long enough that he couldn't get one.

Apparently people were lining up as early as 6.30.

Although considering preorders sold out here in a few minutes we should have expected it.
