Welcome to Beacon! Each and everyone of you has the potential to become a Huntsman or Huntress, guardians of peace and order in our world of Remnant.

Unfortunately, without the proper knowledge and training, that potential is wasted. That's where we come in. Here in Beacon, we will train and hone your potential, until you are the best Hunter you can be.

But be forewarned, this is not a regular combat school. You can, and will die if you don to take this seriously.

This is an expansion of the concept put forward in the Welcome to Beacon: Gaiden thread. Yes, this is a Next Generation Spin-Offspring roleplay, taking place a good 23 years after the cast of the Original BU graduated from Beacon.

So, how is this different from BU? What's stopping this from being same old Beacon with a fresh coat of paint?

Well, for one thing, there's the tone. This is a heck of a lot lighter, much closer to canon RWBY with wacky hijinks sandwiched between FUCKAWESOME action. Of course, there's going to be story arc, but nothing like all that Urobuchi-style stuff in the main thread.

....And speaking of Arcs, here's the other big thing about this roleplay! ALL OF YOU can be Co-GM's! That's right! After the introduction Arc GM'ed by yours truly, you guys can all pitch a an arc you wrote in the DT and we vote on what we want to play! Nothing too grimdark, of course. Let's all have fun!

@Solus: Diana doesn't want to be a Huntress. She's far too timid for that. Also, Chelsea is a noble. Remus either has to let her keep her name, or become Remus Violet.

Also sorry she may be a little dark for the tone intended but I based her off Ghost Rider so..yeah. Promise I'll do my utmost to keep your tone intact.

• Name: Scarlet Amagi
• Gender: Female
• Age: 17
• Birthday: Aurum 7th
• Race: Human
• Appearance: Six foot and muscular with bright red hair and fire-colored eyes. She wears a battle outfit that looks like it came straight out of Mad Max with a bit more armor plating
• Weapons and Equipment:
  • Blaze: A variable length heat-chain i.e. A chain that can extend from six feet up to twenty and can catch on fire if she so chooses
  • Cycle of Vengeance: A motor cycle with dual mini-rocket launchers attached to the sides.
• Semblance: Dragon's breath: She can breathe fire from her mouth. Also passively heats up the air around her when she's agitated.
• Personality: Rough, tumble and ready to ride. Not exactly looking for a fight but she sure as hell ain't running from any fight. She'll chase any goal to the ends of the earth if she sets her mind to it. That being said she can be sweet, but that takes some work to get past her fire-y shell
• Bio: Raised in the inner city she didn't know a whole lot about Grimm, but she knew a fair bit about criminals since her dad was a cop. The first time she saw what a grim could do was when her old man tracked a perp to a grim-filled forest. The criminal got away, her father didn't. Scarlet enrolled in a combat school the next day both to protect others from the fate of her father but also to see if maybe one day she could find that criminal.

• Weapons and Equipment: Nightrider: Twin armblade railguns that lock together to form a high mobility hover board. It uses mag lev tech to hover and can ascend to fairly impressive heights.

• Semblance: Titan's Strength: Selene draws her aura into her muscles, giving her an incredible amount of physical strength varying depending on how much aura she drew into her body. However, she has to then discharge the aura, otherwise it will damage her muscles. She does however use this to her advantage at times by using the discharge of aura as an attack.

• Personality: Impulsive and outgoing, she is about as friendly as you can get. She maaaaaaaay also be a bit competitive.

• Bio: The oldest of the twin daughters of Remus and Chelsea and an ambitious huntress in training. A talented dancer and fighter, she jumped at the chance to go to Beacon.

• Name: Ullioc Fang Scyllata-Huang have fun filling out forms, kid
• Gender: Male
• Age: 17
• Birthday: Flos 13
• Race: Tiger Faunus (Has Recessive Goat Faunus DNA)
• Parents: Charisse Scylatta and Ai Huang (sired by Ai thanks to the auric science of the Jade family)
• Appearance: A young man about 5'9''. Ullioc's body is toned and athletic from years of rigorous training. His skin is basically always tanned as well, but underneath certain articles of clothing stark tanlines separate acquired dark skin from his natural light skin. His light brown hair is layered, and is normally styled backwards. On the off occasion, he will style it forward in a pompadour for a change. Ullioc's vibrant green eyes are covered by a pair of square-rimmed lenses. The glasses are slightly loose on one side, so he pushes them up every once in a while. He wears a skin tight white shirt, and over it a loose open jacket. The jacket features this pattern on it. His glasses are purple, and he has a small puple clip in his hair.
• Weapons and Equipment: For armor, Ullioc wears his great-grandmother's pauldron. It is his sole-piece of armor.
  • Iapetus - A Guandao. The curved blade at the top features complex plant-like designs Ullioc etched in himself. The polearm features a compact high caliber rifle with a revolver-like chamber instead of a counterweight (but it serves the same purpose). At the top, at the base of the blade, is a fire dust crystal surrounded by a dragon head motif.
• Semblance: Judgement Cut - Allows Ullioc to replicate any strike or attack he performs as a light-copy. This copy can be activated by Ullioc to repeat the action he performed then disappear. He is able to create 10 of these initially. Copies can be rotated and shifted around at Ullioc's will. If he loses consciousness or control, the copies will complete their action then disappear. Remember this, Grim?
• Personality: Ullioc has inherited his mother(s)'s cockiness, but his is a cooler more assured one. He claims that his slyness comes from Ai, but is sure that his ability in rhetoric is his own. He is enamored with complex design work, and has several notebooks filled with geometric drawings, arabesques, and sculpture ideas. He is rather skilled with his hands, which are steady and accurate. He considers himself a diplomat and tactician, and, against human opponents, will attempt to talk things through first.
• Bio: Ullioc and his sister, Yanmei, are both successful first-generation "results" of an auric/biochemical experiment on the part of the Jade family. They are perfectly normal children, if only for the fact that they were sired by two women. Despite the impossibility inherent to that statement, it happened because science. Thanks to the "serum" the Jades developed, Ai managed to sire a child with Charisse. Science.

• Despite the occasional irritating visit to the Jades, Ullioc managed to live a rather uneventful life, albeit one full of training. He's very interested in art, something he acquired from one of his aunts. He is much better at meditating than Charisse is. He has a slight preference for Ai's side of the family over Charisse's.

• Name: Relena Hope "Lena" Vale
• Gender: Female
• Age: 17
• Birthday: Novus 28
• Race: Human
• Parents: Alexia Vale, Fuck it, it's Alfred.
• Appearance: Flowers are awesome!◊
• Weapons and Equipment: Lena likes being practical. She'll leave the flashy stuff to her older brother, thanks.
  • Victoria is Lena's main weapon. It's default form is a dagger, but it has a telescoping feature allowing it to unfold into either a short sword or a javelin, Milo style. It's equipped with an improved version of her mother's Alastor Discharge System, allowing it to store and discharge Dust without the Absorb System function of the shield. Basically, Pax and Alastor combined.
  • Libertas is a handgun Lena carries on her at all times. Her father gave her this as her first weapon, and it's mainly there fro sentimental value. Modified to fire rifle bullets.
• Semblance: Farseer - Lena's Semblance allows her to perfectly see at a 360 degree angle (save for a blind spot directly behind her head), sense the Aura of people within ten feet of her, allows her to see whenever someone is about to use a Semblance, see at a great distances...and x-ray vision.
• Personality: You would not believe she's a princess. In stark contrast to her mother, Lena is short-tempered and outspoken. She's confident, and always seems to have a quip ready (Sarcasm is always the first option). She thinks bonds are the most precious things in this world, and will put everything in helping a friend...while complaining. A classic Tsundere, Lena might seem irritable, but she's a loyal, caring and honest friend. She has a habit of giving weird nicknames to people, inherited her mother's bullheaded stubbornness, loves flowers (she won't admit this), thinks ponies are the most awesome animals ever, and is a total Daddy's Girl (But she resents his overprotectiveness). Intelligent, but uninterested in actually studying.
• Bio: Younger daughter of Princess Alexia and niece to Queen Alice, she grew up happily pampered, with a loving family and great friends. Really, her childhood was rather uneventful, save for when she gets roped into her brother's dumb experiments. Bored, she decided to become a Huntress as she felt that the job was for her. Her mother was overjoyed. Her father...not so much. She did manage to convince him, though. ....On the condition she allowed her bodyguard/butler Harry to come with her. To Beacon. ....So humiliating.

I was trying to think of what would be a good look for her and all of a sudden went "oh hey. Blue haired cat girl."

• Parents: Imuka Not gonna specify the other one until I find a cannon pairing, besides she was built any way, its not like she is getting genetics here, if needed Suzune means Bell sound, sooo.....
• Appearance: Pictured Suzune, not pictured Mjolnir◊
• Weapons and Equipment: Technicaly her entire body is her weapon being what an AI an all, but that's probably not the one your interested in.
  • Mjolnir: Mjolnir takes the form of a powerful Tesla Cannon◊ even in ranged mode trading in long range for shear stopping power, In melee mode Mjolnir forgoes the style and grace of a blade for the shere brutality of an electrically charged rocket hammer.
• Semblance: Robit, I am unsure if this applies.
• Personality: Suzune lacks the restraint and unwillingness twords combat of her mother, favoring a more... direct approach twords the protection of others which also reflects on her personality as well, she is no where near as shy, and is in fact quite outgoing, eager to experience the world to the fullest extent possible, it is quite easy to get her to do something if you convince her it has the possibility of being fun.
• Bio: Suzune was created by Imuka as a personal project, not really able to have kids, she decided to program one, one more willing to engage and interact with the world then she was, this has led to a child that was a bit more of a handfull then Imuka intended, and when Suzune got it in her head that attending Beacon like her mother did would be fun, she was not exactly going to stop her.
