I kinda prefer that to the current, because those dolls(?) look super weird.
Personally, I'd be fine with any of the three images we have so far (the current one and the two suggestions), with a very slight preference for 2.
The name could easily mislead one into thinking the trope was ONLY about carrying brides, so a picture with a non-bride would be good. So I like the suggestion in post 2 as well.

I did indeed think it was about that until I read the description.
I think 2 is excellent—the style of how she's being carried is very clear, almost exaggerated. It makes it clear it's not just about actual brides. It's rather romantic, like the trope usually is.
2 is good.
