You're right, the pic is illustrating the title and not the trope. I'm good to pull it.
Wasn't the image for this page removed a while back? I see whoever added in that image have disregarded the commented out note to not do so without discussing it in an IP thread.
I dont know it does seem to illustrate the visual part of this trope. Edea from FF8 then?◊
That has the same problem as the current. The trope's about a sorceress using her power to maintain her youth and beauty...neither the current nor that get that across at all.

It doesn't 100% require magic to do it, Edea's massive amount of makeup really does the job.
Problem is, you can't really infer that fact from the pic you posted, making it a classic JAFAAC.
This is going to be hard to illustrate with a single image. Something like this◊ might work though...

That's a definite improvement.
Do we really need the first and third panels? I think the second one shows it.
Agree.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I don't see how the second shot alone would be any better than the current image. The whole idea behind using multiple shots was to give some context, wasn't it?
Give the rest of the context in the caption?
Check out my fanfiction!I'd say first + third...
That plus "And thus a hair-brained plot was formed..." as the caption might work.
I don't know, 1 and 3 look like completely different people.
I think that's kinda the point of the trope though...
Ugh, do we really need three panels? Just find a picture of a witch looking in a mirror.
That's not really the trope though, and that was the original image of the page before a previous thread decided to remove it. It's not just about "a Hot Witch who is vain", but who actively uses their magical powers to make themselves look beautiful.

Panel 1 and 3 from 7 works.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"I'd like 7 a lot better as an animation. It doesn't look great as a series of stills.
Rhymes with "Protracted."Unfortunately, animated pics aren't allowed, so I had to make do with those stills, since a single frame won't work as well.
If folks want to have an animated image - or a system to allow for animated images in particular circumstances -, you'll have to ask on the Tech Wishlist forum.
Second panel plus caption might work.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI agree with first + third of 7.
Clock is set.

I dont see how this is supposed to illustrate the trope; it just looks like a Hot Witch with a very tangential connection to changing one's appearance to appear beautiful, vaguely implied by the magic energy coming out of her hand. An image that shows the old form with the new one would be much better.
