"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI think that image is a good start. And to me he looks more like a politician than a hitman or bodyguard who might otherwise dress up the same.
No idea about improvement suggestions.
Check out my fanfiction! Not sure the flag says as much politician as it says nationalist of any kind. Especially with someone dressed like that.

Does the trope account for a retired war hero moving to be a politician? Since that's what I get from that.
Check out my fanfiction! The politician could have been a retired war hero moving to politics. The background for the character can be anything. He/She just has to be a politician that personally faces adversity when it is present during their time as a politician.

The current image looks like a Keep Until Better Image Suggested to me. I don't like the suggested replacements.
Rhymes with "Protracted."I like that one.

Okay, now that's more like it.

10 seems fairly good to me.

I'd say that's enough consensus to call for . Caption or no?
"Honor and fear were heaped upon his name and, in time, he became king governor by his own hand."
*snerk* Nice.

According to the Governator plot, a fictionalized Schwarzenegger who after stepping down from his role as Governor of California became a superhero in order to fight crime. The article was meant to involve political figures who do all the conflict confrontations while they are in office, on a campaign, or instated into their desired job. Can I still use the image if the character had stepped down from their political role?
I don't see an issue.
That's a flaw, but good luck getting that to "read". Way more importantly it's funny.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Well, first off, a good illustration is more important than it actually being a proper example.
Second, I think that by reversing the order of the two jobs, it doesn't run into the problems the other way around has. He's a politician who decides to take things into his own hands, and I think whether he remains in office or not is a minor detail in that.

I was told the image I have for my YKTTW called Action Politician is inadequate. Though others who know of what the image relates to happen to disagree. What image would be better to display in order to capture the message behind my proposed trope?
