- Ibuki in Rainbow Mika's story.
So we've seen pretty much all the 2016 DLC characters now(aside from Urien) if you add Alex's official concept art from yesterday. Probably not in their normal/new costumes since there are so many, but still.

Actually, one interesting thing from the intro is that the flashes when Charlie is waking up show that his Alpha 2 ending was canon.
A corpse should be left well enough alone...Well the first game was retconned when the second Alpha game came out, and it couldn't have been his or Guile's Alpha 3 ending, because in Charlie's 3 ending he doesn't fucking die, and in Guile's he watches him die, when we all know that Guile found Charlies dog tags after the fact and figured out that he was dead.
Oh! Should also mention that Abel and Sagat are referenced in Rashid's story. Cute that Abel's avatar is the dog from his story.
Now's it's Shulk Time! The dubs are kind of weak overall. Rashid's CA looks incredibly silly while cammy, Bison, and Necalli's are pretty cool. Kind of underwhelming compared to 4 though.

Every fighting game seems to have that one character who has main character cred but is barely ever actually involved in the plot. Mitsurugi is another one, who like Ryu always gets some new subplot whenever there's a new game to justify him being in the story at all.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Things I want Sakura to have when she gets added:
- A gi instead of the schoolgirl outfit as either her main or story costume.
- A cherry blossom themed Raging Demon.
- Her and Karin to have a matching pair of costumes.
- V-Trigger is Sn H(since pretty much all her appearances outside the main series games have her with a non-controllable version of it and Akuma and others saying her potential is the most they've ever seen).
(Also more moments with her and Karin since they're pretty much the #1 fan preferred yuri couple of the series like Asuka x Lili in Tekken)

The game seems like it was released unfinished, and free updates or not, I think I'll hold off on my purchase till the game is done updating basic things that probably should have been in at release.

Well SFIV series was bare-bones as all heck, I wonder what else we should expect from SFV?

My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes!Yeah but it had an arcade mode. Prologues and endings. It wasn't bare boned, just really poorly balanced.
I already consider SFIV kinda lacking, and SFV doesn't have even that feature at launch? Huh.
My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes!I'm not angry about it, I mean I've had a bad feeling about it for a long time. I'll wait for it to be complete before sinking in.
I'll just wait for a PS 4 bundle.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Well, Killer Instinct was also bare bones at launch but it was less expensive to get into than this.
My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes!Lupe Fiasco vs. Daigo Umehara for a SFV launch party
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I hope Capcom will make that Shadaloo Grunt from the NPC battle mode playable one day. I like the TF2 Soldier look he has.
The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit!Eh. This seems right to me. They're trying something new with the whole free modular upgrade model they're supposed to be using, so Capcom is probably being rather inflexible when it comes to things like deadlines. There's obviously plentiful effort in the game. The characters are incredibly varied, they seem to be balanced and I've heard the online play likened to bees' knees at least once. If the alternative would have been Super Street Fighter V a year down the line, I'd much rather this solution than that alternative.
Yea, I don't doubt there will be more content added for the future but it doesn't really feel worth $60 right now.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. How much was Killer Instinct on launch? It lacked the same things and released characters about as quick as Capcom are planning to, right?
Both are pretty much starter packs to a fighting game that'll last to next gen.

KI 2013 was verrryyyy differently structured compared to SFV. It went all-in on a free-to-play system, with the game costing nothing, but only one character (out of a starting roster of only six at time of launch, but now upwards of twenty, I believe) being available for free play per month, with the option to [permanently] unlock characters for $5.
If you wanted to compare SFV's cost per character — which would be a bit of a silly comparison, I feel, but it works I guess — it's starting roster of 16 is ~$3.75 "per character." Given that you're buying into a much more complete roster to play against, and given the assumption that unlocking all future DLC characters for free will be a reasonable task to accomplish, I'd say it's a pretty fair value.
Like, I can appreciate anyone who feels like there's not yet enough content there to want to drop $60 on SFV just yet, totally. But I also recognize that, for a fighting game, a starting roster of 16 characters for the first iteration of the title, is pretty good by the standards of the genre. SFIV, at least in the arcade release, started with 16 as well, after all... Up to 19 for the home console release, mind you, but still. And historically speaking, that's been a fairly high-end number of characters for most first games in a series, with the notable exception of KOF and crossover titles in general.

Is the bear on Zangief's stage Kuma from Tekken?
You Can't Give It Up!! [[Phash Slash 1001@gmail.com]] http://corecrush112.tumblr.comI assume it's just an ordinary entirely inexplicable generically Russian maybe-circus bear, myself... But then, Akuma is apparently a canon part of Tekken now, so who the hell knows?
Then again, why would Heihachi let some Russian underground circus brawler what-the-hell-ever-is-going-on-with-that-stage jerks keep his pet bear?

Apparently Ono and Tekken-guy have said that SF and Tekken more or less take place in the same world.
Laura lookin' like a One Piece character.◊ Repostin for a new page- work in progress!
