I just tried it in TRS and had the same thing happen. I also encountered the problem in IP, right after I saw someone mention it in a thread.
I'm seeing it as well (Opera 12.16 for Linux).

While we are going to fix the bug (seems to be a Javascript issue), the crowner content isn't actually lost. You can get it back by reloading the page.

The fix for this is coming, but it won't be for a few weeks yet, when the new software rolls out.

Not sure what's going on, but for the last coupla days, any time I vote on something in a crowner (at least in IP, haven't voted on anything in TRS), all the options vanish from the crowner after the vote processes and they don't come back.
