The link is taking me to Flickr's home page. I agree that the current is weak, it just looks like a blaster with a yellow body to me.
I like the suggestion. If the height isn't an issue, I'll give my vote to the 3-shot version. The first shot shows the guy pointing at the carrot and looking amused, and the second gives a smooth transition to the third shot, which shows the results of being blasted by the carrot.
Suggestion is better. Not sure which configuration is best.
Check out my fanfiction!Well obviously it would look best as an animated gif.
But yeah, it's an upgrade. All three is fine.
Rhymes with "Protracted."Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.
I like the suggestion and the 3-panel version should fit since there's no vertical size limit.
Absent-minded professor and Neverwinter Nights DMIt just looks nicer to use an image instead of a strip. At most I would only want two frames, the first and third. But one frame is enough.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. The first frame shows the short guy laughing at the carrot, though, which is something the description mentions as being part of the trope.
That is such a small bit of information. I'd rather communicate that in the caption, than add a whole second frame just for that.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I'm happy with the single image; it's clear it's a carrot.
I vote for the single image too.
"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."Single image as well.
Single panel for me as well.

Starred and updated the Image Source pages.

So I guess the current pic is...ok? I didn't get it was a banana cuz the fruit is obscured by a muzzle and ...I guess it's a trigger? I think better pics exist at any rate. I looked at the examples and took screenshots from the Bugs Bunny cartoon described. Here. All three can be used; alternatively, 1 and 3, or just 3.
