Sub tropes are, by definition, more narrowly defined variants of their supertrope. Just being More Specific is not enough to make a subtrope Not Tropeworthy.

I Was Told There Would Be Cake seems to be an example of The Same But More Specific, the Super-Trope being Food as Bribe. Think about it; does the food being cake provide any additional meaning?
