I believe what we did was make the first version used the main one, and redirected other re-spellings to it.
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol.

The custom name should be changed: the wiki has a first-come, first-served policy when it comes to alternate English spellings in pretty much every situation.

The official policy is, as the others have stated, "first-come, first-served". as long as there's a redirect to the other spelling, we are not going to make a rule about which one is the "main" name.

I know that for descriptions we are free to use UK or US English but shouldn't there be a consistent use for trope names? Most tropes seem to be based on the US spelling like Color Wash. But then I noticed that Color-Coded for Your Convenience gets redirected to Colour-Coded for Your Convenience (which only has the wiki name customized) instead of having it the other way around. Shouldn't that be corrected? I am kind of a nerd when it comes to applying rules consistently.
