Previous thread. Eddie was strongly in favor of the current for humor value, but I wonder if playing Dubya for a joke has run its course.
I don't like any of the suggestions, honestly...the art style is off-putting and they don't seem very clear. This old thread might have some good options (thanks for the find, Maddy ).

I prefer a fictional character for this trope, too.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!I don't mind the current, and I wouldn't mind a good improvement if I saw one.
Check out my fanfiction!I love the current.
Keep Until Better Image Suggested, because the suggestions don't look terribly compelling.

I've known about it since the beginning. But I just refused to believe it.The present image is still way funny.
For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong. — H.L. MenckenI think that looks similar, but like something else.

Check out my fanfiction!I honestly don't see the humour value of the current image. Can anyone explain it to me?
I don't get it either. An ex-politician generally mocked for being stupid is somehow a psychic now? I guess the picture is ironic because it is the exact opposite of the normal cliche (which isn't funny either)? Or perhaps it's simply a meme that I'm unfamiliar with?
Anyway, 1.1 and 1.6 would be a suitable replacement, imho.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight! The posted image is funny. Voting "Keep."
For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong. — H.L. MenckenCome on fellas, where's our sense of humor? It's hilarious!
I think 1.6 might actually be good enough to replace the current image. Otherwise, keep.
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...Hilarious how? It's just some guy touching his temples.
But given that the person in question is Bush, I assume this refers to some politics in-joke which I know nothing about?
The joke is Dubya (a president who, depending on how generous you are, is anywhere from a bumbling bumpkin to a complete moron) looking like he's using mind powers, which the caption plays on. If you're not from the US, it probably won't mean much, especially if you didn't keep up with our political scene while he was president.

See also Bushism.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanSo it's basically Politics Myopia, then To understand the image, you need to be familiar with what American politics were about a decade ago. I don't think we can expect that of our entire reader base.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Love the current.
I personally like the current for reasons Wilbur explained. But since we are so divided on this, let's just have a crowner to switch or not.

Keep Until Better Image Suggested
I really wanted to suggest that we use the image of Sheldon trying to blow up Leonard's head with mind powers in an episode of The Big Bang Theory but I can not remember the episode number to grab a screencap.
It's amusing but people pointed out that if you don't know who George W Bush is then the pic isn't very funny. I like 1.6.

Nominations for replacement images:
Pic is okay, but not really that illustrative. I'd rather have an actual psychic character. With that in mind, here's Raz.
