This actually looks better than Despicable Me 2.
Peace is the only battle worth waging.I've got it! Gru goes back in time to create the Minions thus putting all of the events of all the movies into motion.
Nah that can't be it.
I hope it's a good movie.
Yeah, I hope so too.

I love the Minions. So cute.
Oddly, Tumblr seems to really hate them for some reason.
Honestly, I'm right with them.
On my wave, passing oooooooonNot just Tumblr, a lot of people as a whole.
Why? Same reason why people hated Spider Pig and Afro Circus: Overuse to the point of annoyance. People loved these jokes around when they first started out. But due to them being everywhere, a lot of people grew sick of them after a while. And in the case of the Minions, it's worse. Spider Pig and Afro Circus were at least not too big parts of their movies. The minions appear a lot in Despicable Me(and I'm presuming it's sequel as well) and are going to have their own movie. Plus the minions seem to overshadow just about everything about the Despicable Me movies beside Agnes talking about "fluffiness". The first teaser for Despicable Me 2 focused entirely on the Minions. At least the first teaser for the first movie seemed more focused on something that was a part of the plot(I realize that the Pyramid being stolen isn't a big plot point, but you can have a better idea of what the movie is about) as well as a majority of the advertising for the second movie. People are just sick of seeing the Minions everywhere and I don't blame em. I really loved the little guys when I first saw the movie. But they've gotten so popular that it's getting annoying. And it doesn't really help that they speak in gibberish which can get annoying for some people after a while.
My Tumblr "If theirs one thing I'm good at, it's blowing" Jesse Cox 2013Well... just seen it and it's really quite a lot of fun. The minions still talk their usual gibberish and are as intelligent and competent as they ever were... which is of course to say, not even remotely. But it's unabashedly and proudly aimed for silliness and goofy visual gags and hits the mark pretty solidly. It's pretty much a string of jokes tied very, very loosely together with the most rudimentary plot going.
If you don't like minions, the film is not going to turn you around. But those of you who do like the little guys, yeah this is up your street.
"These 'no-nonsense' solutions of yours just don't hold water in a complex world of jet-powered apes and time travel."Today I watched this movie and Inside Out. I prefered Inside Out. This movie was fun, still. I didn't like the ending very much. I guess... it had good female characters?
Also I kinda wish we had seen more of that family of villains. I'm picturing them as some kind of evil Incredibles, minus the superpowers.
Oh, I thought this movie still had a couple of weeks!
It's already out in most territories.
Oh wow, this movie comes out as early as 6 PM tonight!
It... was kinda meh. I'd say I enjoyed almost all individual scenes, but nothing really stuck with me at all. Opening sequence really was the best part.
I have to say, the Minions getting to Scarlet felt really phoned in and lazily written. The minions finding Villain-Con, Scarlet's "keynote speech" being nothing but a henchmen recruitment event, and Bob for some reason eating the Ruby just all felt very lazy, contrived, and just there to get the plot going.
The keynote speech thing in particular really threw my suspension of disbelief. Not sure why it stuck in my craw that much, but it really just didn't make a lot of sense In-Universe, let alone out of Universe.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Eh, I didn't think it got all that silly until the sword-in-the-stone bit. But yeah, then it felt as if they'd overstretched a simpler story by making up more and more ridiculous scenes like that.
What language do the Minions speak? I started to think it was a mixture of a few real ones.
It's not based on a real language, but their words have English counterparts ("unicorn" is something like "dahoy").
Peace is the only battle worth waging. It's Speaking Simlish
I'm having to learn to pay the priceThere's some Spanish in their language too, which made me think it was a mix of real ones.
If I have to say there is a flaw in Minions, it's that it makes what are supposed to be super villains types too noble. It's nowhere near as bad as Despicable Me 2 in that regard though, as they don't reform outright.
That's why he wants you to have the money. Not so you can buy 14 Cadillacs but so you can help build up the wastesAll the talk of finding "Le Big Boss" made me think of Metal Gear.
They are disaster magnets, aren't they? That movie had a little more manslaughter than I expected.
It outgrossed Toy Story 3.
Peace is the only battle worth waging. So what? Seriously... So what! People don't care about this film like Toy Story 3, so it's clear what will be more timeless.
I wouldn't whine too much about this, to be honest.
New Web Browser, same old Shokew.
Cute "Minions Meet Godzilla" spot they animated for Toho Theaters in Japan.
