Well, I'd hook one right now, but that function seems to be down.
I'd say 1+4 or 1+3+4. I lean towards the former, if only because the rapid switch from Calvin monologuing to getting chased is hilariously abrupt.
Reaction Image RepositoryThat's one of the main reasons I like that combo, plus it being able to be done horizontally as opposed to the tall 1+3+4.
I feel that 1-3-4 is a smoother transition, though. Just giving my reasons
"We can't use the whole strip, so I don't understand the complaint. "
The reason we don't use whole strips is because Fair Use only applies when a portion of a work is used. 75% of a work is only technically not the whole thing.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. To be honest, I'm uncomfortable with using that much of a strip myself in any circumstance, but at times it can't be helped. I don't think this is one of those times.
Crowner's hooked.

Monday votes bump...two in the green, one in consensus range.
I like 1+3 even better.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.
I think the snowman chasing him has a bit more punch but that's pretty good, too.
I still like 1+4 better. It's more obvious that his "bring the snowman to life" thing backfired on him rather than him just being surprised that it worked.
Reaction Image RepositoryPre-weekend votes bump; two in green but no consensus.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI think it's time to put the image up.
That's an unfortunate precedent.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Well, it's been 12 days and the leader's the only one with consensus, so it's ready to call. The pic's up, potholed, and tagged. I'm good to leave it without a caption; thoughts?
You appear to have accidentally removed about 90% of the page there.
Got that fixed.
No caption discussion; locking up.

Which arrangement of this comic to use?
Yeah, don't see why not.
