Previous thread. The arguments against the current are valid.
The current image makes me think of Casual Danger Dialog mainly.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI'm fine with the current one. Shaving while fighting a lion.
It would be better if he was the one shaving not having someone else do it for him.
I want to say a shot of Robin Hood drinking tea while he parries attacks from Mooks in Robin Hood Men In Tights but my google fu is weak.

But the trope is more than just "fighting and working" it's also generally showing disinterest in the fight.
I should be working right now...The current only really works if you know it's from Team Fortress 2 where that character views fighting cougars as something normal he doesn't really have to think about.
I recommend we find a better one.
Keep Until Better Image Suggested.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Change it. I don't see the value in having a pic that so blatantly goes against the trope description.
Here's an imgur link (http://i.imgur.com/yclNQVt.png) to a screencap for Men in Tights. The file size is too big to upload to tvropes and I'm not computer literate enough to change the size. And yeah, I really think we should take the current one down even if this picture doesn't work out. It's misleading.

Much better picture.
For the sake of variety, here's Chase Young◊ from Xiaolin Showdown.

Here's 10 at wiki size. is a good contender, too.

I like 10/13.
Tempted to brighten it up a little...
*cough*

Check out my fanfiction!I like Chase Young better there's less going on in the picture. If we can get in better quality I think it's golden.

I should be working right now...Not sure that version is an improvement, but I do like the Men in Tights suggestion better than the Xiaolin picture (the perspective looks really weird).
I was hoping someone would brighten that up, thanks!
Like 16 over 14 because in 16 the guy fighting the multitasking character actually looks like a real threat. In 14 the guy looks harmless enough that it's plausible he's not a threat.
I like both recommendations. I swear I've seen this happen before, but I can't remember where. Gaaaahh...
I got the Chase Young image from this video; it's the best quality I could find online. I did crop off the empty space on the left side of the screen, if that's what you mean by "weird perspective."
Regarding the other image, I do think the brighter version looks slightly better, but as already mentioned, it's a bit busy. Robin's sword tends to blend into the background at first glance. (It almost looks like part of the chandelier.)

It's more of the odd drawing style rather than your cropping.
If the guy was an actual threat this trope wouldn't surface, would it?
If he was a threat he would. But I can't tell if the attacking person in 14 is a legitimate threat from the image itself. In 16 I can.
The page description reads
"1-Assuming a bored expression, not bothering to even look at the opponent while he fights.
2-Performing mundane tasks while effortlessly parrying his opponent's blows."
This comic, while funny and cool, definitely shows neither. He's in no way bored, and he's doing nothing but fight the lion. We need a new picture.
I should be working right now...
