Yeah, that one's texty even for me.
Not sussed on the current at all.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI have no ideas on a replacement. Reading the examples list isn't much help as well.
Except maybe the Hidamari Sketch example
"The two new tenants of the Hidamari Apartments, Nori and Nazuna, were de-Faceless Masses-ized among other admission exam takers in the second season OVA. They were actually introduced in the second episode of the third season."
Let me see if I can get a good shot of them in the masses then line it up with a shot of them getting introduced to the apartments or added to the OP.
EDIT: nope doesn't work too far away.◊

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanVote to pull? It would make a better page quote for illustrating the trope than current but visually it adds absolutely nothing.

I concur.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!+1 to pull.
I agree. Pull.
I should be working right now...
The image on Chekhov's Gunman is in pretty bad shape. It's mostly a page quote in GIF form, in that the graphics contribute nothing; it's overly verbose and the image is blurry. I think we can do better than that.
Perhaps we can take one of the webcomic examples, show a subtle panel where the character first appears, then a much later panel showing its significance?
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!
